Breakfast

The breakfast was very good. Really good pancakes. Ask for chocolate chip not on The menu. But the will fix for you. Also the pineapple fruit bowl is a must.

This is my fifth trip to Disney as an adult and this was hands down my favorite breakfast I have had. Food options are so unique and the theme is well done. The tonga toast was amazing and so was the pineapple fruit plate. All the other entrees looked amazing too. Can't wait to go back and try dinner also!

Staying at the Polynesian hotel we scheduled a dinner reservation at Kona and we now have another favorite restaurant at WDW. My husband and I both ordered steak . Both were cooked perfectly and were delicious. On the dining plan we had dessert included. I had a chocolate lava cake dessert which was amazing . Our server Debbie was great... More

Had a nice evening meal at Kona Cafe, the decor and atmosphere was very tropical. I had the curry encrusted lamb chops which were average. One thing I noticed is the portions in all 7 of our plates were barely appetizer size. So if your very hungry you might want to look elsewhere. Our waitress was not very attentive, had... More

We had the Lump Crab Cakes and the Pot Stickers Appetizers. Both delicious and enjoy by all four of us! We then tried some of their Sushi, a Caterpillar Roll and a Spicy Lava Roll, both unusual and delicious! We then ordered a Kona Salad, Sesame Seared Sea Scallops, and the Pan-seared Duck Breast. Each items was delicious and it... More

Although it's a bustling sit down cafe, the food here is out of this world! Don't expect a quiet breakfast, but you will not be disappointed. My husband had the Tonga Toast -- french toast with cinnamon and sugar and a banana filling, and he said it was perfect. I loved the poached eggs with hollandaise over pulled pork. We... More

The Kona Cafe was my favorite restaurant in all of Disney World. We canceled reservations at The Crystal Palace one night to come eat here again. The Tonga Toast is a must-eat for breakfast if you're staying at the Polynesian.

When we first arrived we were seated a table kind of stuffed in a bad spot so we asked to move and they moved us once it was cleared with the supervisor. The food was great though. It's just a shame there's not more of a view from the restaurant but I know it's only casual. The service was great... More

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here last week. We ordered Tonga Toast and the Samoan, both of which were amazing!! The special juice was awesome!! We also ordered the pressed coffee which was a bit strong but tasty. We will definitely be coming back!

The menu was extensive and the decor was nice. The restaurant is located on the second floor near the entrance to the monorail. The food was very good. I had lo mein noodles with shrimp and it was very good. The service was fast and the server was very nice. I have been here before and will continue to come... More
