A nice alternative at the Polynesian

I was surprised a quality place for dinner, yet a bit on the more expensive side but Disney food is average and this is better.

We were excited to try the Kona café as we had read pretty good reviews of the food and, in fact, the food wasn't terrible. Sadly, the setting and atmosphere was more like dining in a food court at the mall. Not a place to go if you are looking for a romantic or up-scale experience. The restaurant is located... More

The service in this place was terrible. Horrible. God awful. We had reservations and didn't get seated for another half hour after we showed up for our reservation... cranky, hungry kids in tow. When we were seated it was at a back, corner table, nearly hidden away from everyone-- including our server who seemed nowhere to be found. Not even... More

I realized I had never written a review for this restaurant. We first ate here as a couple back in 2013 and then we returned with our kids 3 other times over the next few years. Being in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort the atmosphere is awesome. The service is typical Disney as was the quality of the food. I think... More

There is nothing wrong with Kona cafe for breakfast, but it was pricey and not really worth the value. Food is good, but you could do better. We went one time and didnt go back. I am not sure how this place is for meals.

We just recently returned from an Orlando trip. This time we didn't do Disney but I couldn't resist at least having a meal at our favorite resort. For all the times that we've been to Disney and even stayed at the Polynesian we never ate at Kona. So we made our advanced reservations. We arrived early for our 5:00 reservation.... More

Had breakfast with a friend ans was very pleasantly surprised at how tasty this meal was! I am so happy I ordered the macadamia nut pancakes with pineapple sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about this! I would definitely order this again and try to get the this cafe, even if I was not staying here.

Tonga Toast was amazing! Service was quick and friendly, and the amount you paid for a hearty breakfast was fair! We loved everything about it!

Very, very disappointed. 45 minutes to seat even though multiple tables open. Grits were great. Omelettes were disgusting-obviously frozen and microwaved, but still cold and potatoes were also cold. Turkey bacon came our raw! Never again!

Great place to grab some yummy sushi and Hawaiian style dishes!! Everytime we go to Orlando for Disney or Universal, we always ended up here for the delicious Crab Rangoon rolls!! Must try and you will be hooked:)
