Great Breakfast

I am a local and we often go to the hotels for meals. I have not eaten at the Poly since our terrible meal and experience at Ohana's. I was pleasantly surprised...the food was very good and it was also reasonable. I love the background slack jaw guitar music...makes you feel like you are on one... read more

Stayed at the Best Western by Downtown Disney for the night and the next morning was dying to check out the Polynesian, so we headed over for breakfast. It was a Monday morning, didn't have reservation, but we only waited 20 min, which was absolutely fine cause we got to browse the hotel while we waited. I absolutely LOVED Kona!... More

My husband and I were recently on vacation for a week at Disney. We had been told to try the Kona and especially the Tonga Toast. We did and loved it as well as the Big Kahuna breakfast. We loved it so much we went three times within the week for breakfast. We also tried the pineapple macadamia pancakes which... More

First- it took a long time to get our food, and it was not any better. My chicken breast was VERY dry and seemed like it was microwave. The broccoli had a very hot spice on it- made it unbearable to eat. The brussels spouts tasted of a wood fire. Another meal was noodles and chicken Hardly any chicken and... More

After a long, hot day at Magic Kingdom, the Kona was a welcome relief. The atmosphere is well done and peaceful. The food was above average and the server was prompt. Good experience.

This is one of the best Gluten Free dining experiences I had on my trip. They even have rolls and an extensive dessert list, which is high on my list. I had sushi appetizer, lamb and cheesecake.

It's virtually impossible to get into Ohana for a meal and Captain Hooks quick service is no treat (more on that in a separate review) so if you are staying at the Polynesian your only other option for a meal (table service) is Kona. We chose Kona for breakfast (other menus didn't appeal to us). We were greeted by Nina.... More

I had the steak and eggs. The banana stuffed French toast was awesome. Don't forget the press pot of coffee and the service was great too

For lunch I got the pan fried chicken with coconut and mango sauces, it was so delicious. It came with white rice and macaroni and cheese.

Been here in the past for dinner...it was great. However, I really feel as though breakfast shines through as the winner here. I had been dying to try their tonga toast and macadamia nut pancakes for years, just never had the chance with all of the character meals/Signature dining we usually fill our schedule with (and I'm not much of...
