Amazing Polynesian Inspired Breakfast

The Kona Cafe is one of the best breakfast's i've had at Disney World. They have the ever-so-famous Tonga Toast which is a must try for everyone. They also serve an excellent plate of Macadamia Nut Pineapple Pancakes, and serve your coffee in a French Press (the best way to make coffee). The coffee... read more

We ate here for dinner during Christmas week. The food was absolutely delicious! There was something on the menu for everyone. Our server was helpful and attentive. It definitely exceeded our expectations, and we would go back again.

We have dined at Kona Cafe for both breakfast and lunch. Disneyesque style Polynesian decor. The kids will love it. Try to get seated so you are facing the windows and watch as monorails pull in and out of the platform outside. At breakfast, the obvious choice is to order the Tonga Toast - a massive banana-stuffed Sourdough French Toast... More

We had lunch today at the Kona Cafe, Requested the Tonga Toast. The waiter brought us the biggest french toast I have ever seen in my life. I can tell you taht with one toast two might be able to have a good breakfast. All that have the possibility should try the Tonga Toast!

We had reservations for breakfast and were seated promptly. I made reservations as a result of reviews of their Tonga Toast and the decent for Disney prices across the board for a table service restaurant. Being breakfast it is hard to screw up so most of the servings were liked and ample for the price. They range from $10.00-15.00 which... More

Every time I'm in Orlando i make sure to stop at Kona Cafe. The Tonga toast is a must! And, its amazing. I love that they have turkey bacon, thats a plus! I'm sure everything else is delicious as well. But i personally order the same thing every time! :)

This was BY FAR our favorite meal at Disney World! Highlights: French press pot of Kona coffee (enough for 2 people + some to-go) Tonga Toast: delicious and rich without giving you a stomache-ache Reasonably priced (for Disney World) - about $14 a plate for our entrees, which we were happy to pay! Service was a little slow, and the... More

We usually come here for lunch or dinner as a fall back because we always knew the food was quick and delicious and we have a love for sticky wings and pineapple bread. Unfortunately, the kona cafe has gone downhill so much that we will not be returning. First of all the service was awful and our waitress was inattentive... More

Service wasn't great which, if you've been to Disney, says something about this particular restaurant. But I digress... We ate here for breakfast. The Tonga Toast was as sugary-crunchy as you'd expect for the star menu attraction. The Big Kahuna was plenty for myself and my 6 year old to share. The coffee was out of this world. Skip the...
