The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.

One of my favorite dinners in Disney World!

I absolutely love Kona Cafe for all meals of the day; however the dinner I had in May was one of the best meals I've ever had on property. I had the kona coffee rubbed porkchop with mashed potatoes and fire roasted corn and eggplant. Not only was it delicious, the portions were large. The pineapple... read more

Food was excellent. Appetizers are big enough to be a meal. Don't skip the sushi. The volcano roll is a must eat. We had no problems getting reservations up to 1 hour before we wanted to eat.

On our last day of vacation we decided to try the kona cafe. I'm glad we did! The tonga toast is to die for! Servers were attentive- as always Disney hit it out of the park!

A friend who sometimes cruises with us, her husband, and their 3 grandchildren were in Orlando for a vacation. They had stayed a few days at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort but had never made it to the Kona Cafe. As this is one of our favorite Walt Disney World Restaurants, and as we were able to snag an Advance Dining... More

We have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Kona Cafe over the years. We love the atmosphere as well as the food, so it's become one of our go-to places in Walt Disney World. This most recent time was for dinner last week with some out of town guests. At dinner they bring fabulous sweet Hawaiian bread with sweet... More

We come to Kona Cafe for breakfast a few times a year, and that's usually good, but it had been many years since going for dinner. I thought of it as a hidden gem back then, but not so much now. You'll need a reservation. You can walk in, but it's nearly impossible to get a table in a reasonable... More

To sum up our experience for the 6 of us on a Friday night was " forgettable" . Service is the main problem here- SLOW and lack of attention. We had to ask for waters which were only refilled towards the end of our dinner. The food is good but not great. Decor is lacking, instead of being a tropical... More

Best Sashimi I've had in many years. Thick slices of mild sushi (raw) fish, very tender and flavorful. Generous portions (above average). Ahi tuna, salmon, yellow tail, grouper, freshwater eel (cooked) all just spot-on. We will go back there for sure! Possibly one of Disney's finest.

I returned to the Kona Cafe after many years for breakfast. It was quite busy (even with a reservation) so I would suggest that you book a table in advance. My party was there for breakfast and we all enjoyed. I had the macadamia pancakes with pineapple sauce. It was a bit pricey but nice enough. The service was a... More

We were a party of 6 adults and one two year old. I met up with my best friend here to have a belated birthday celebration. They had never been to this restaurant and we'd been raving about the food. (And doesn't it always seem that when you brag about a place, you're going to get let down when you... More
