Two Big Thumbs Up

Overall a fantastic place to enjoy a meal. We had the breakfast and it was outstanding. The service was prompt. The menu offers numerous unique options with an island flair. The Big Kahuna and Tonga Toast were outstanding. Definitely will return.

We had great meals at this restaurant. My wife and oldest son had the Grilled Kona Coffee-rubbed Pork Chop, my youngest son had the Grilled Curry-crusted Lamb Chops and I had the Volcano Rolls and Lump Crab Cakes. All the food was simply fantastic, this restaurant is on the high side of average prices however it's well worth the money... More

Came here for breakfast during a recent trip to WDW, because the cost of a restaurant like this was practically what you would pay for the food court at one of the value resorts. I really wanted Mickey waffles and even though they didn't have them on the menu, the server was able to provide some since the buffet at... More

We came here for a light dinner and some cocktails. The spicy tuna sushi we ordered was bland but the specialty rolls were really good. My sister raved about the fish of the day entree she ordered. I had their mojito and my Mom had their iconic drink the lapu lapu, which is served in a pineapple! Drinks were a... More

This is a cafe style restaurant at Disney's Polynesian Village. We came for breakfast on a recommendation. Absolutely loved the Tonga Toast. I've never had anything like it and am going to try to make it at home. It was fantastic! Will definitely go back.

This casual breakfast lunch dinner café in the Polynesian is one of the best surprises in all of Disney World. The freshly prepared dishes have just the right touch of island flavors and inspirations. There's an amazing Auchy sandwich and Asian noodle dish and some of the best French toast in the world. You can be as healthy or is... More

Although this restaurant is not fancy and is far from being a must-see, there are some good reasons to try it: 1. It's close to the Magic Kingdom and is a good place to have breakfast before going into the park if you don't want a character breakfast (for this, try Ohana--just a few feet away). 2. The food is... Kona is the best mid-priced restaurant on the monorail in our experience. We had lunch there, everything was yummy. It's not cheap, but nothing at Disney is. The service was good.
