Good food with Hawaiian twists on favorites, such as pancakes, French toast, waffles, and eggs Benedict. We all enjoyed our breakfasts and the portions were generous. The service was friendly.

after a long day in the parks we had a somewhat late meal at kona cafe, granted this place is not as fancy as ohana but the service and food is just as nice. my wife tried the seared tuna but said the spices used were a little overpowering so if you don't like spiced food steer clear. however it... After reading all the rave reviews about Kona Cafe, my husband and I made dinner reservations during our latest trip. I have to say this was our favorite, best-tasting meal of the vacation. While the decor and location are not as "fancy" as Ohana, this was the perfect place for us to enjoy a meal after a long day at... More

I don't appreciate late seating. If you finally manage to get a reservation in Disney Dining and show up when you are supposed to only to receive a beeper and a long wait (30+min) it isn't acceptable. Not well managed. Food is good. Yes the Tonga toast us worth it.

The Kona for breakfast has been a tradition in my family for 25 years and counting! The best location, the best breakfast, the best service and the best coffee in all of Disney World hands down!! My husband spent our entire vacation complaining about his coffee. Toni from the office made his perfectly!! Tonga toast has always been my favorite... More

Came to the Kona Cafe with reservations for 9 people. Naturally they were preparing our table and the wait would only be a few minutes. 15 minutes later, i heard the same story. Not taking that answer as gospel, i pushed them a bit and was told that they are trying to figure out where to seat us. Well finally... More

Food okay, atmosphere terrible. I had read great things about this place and was really excited about getting to eat at the Polynesian. We were really disappointed. The restaurant is the first thing when you walk off the monorail into the hotel, it is open to the hallway so there is no privacy, people watch you eat as you walk... More

There are a lot of reviews that rave about the Tonga Toast breakfast (banana stuffed sourdough french toast dusted with cinnamon sugar). That was OK, but nothing I would write about. What caught me off guard was the dish called the Samoan (poached eggs, Hollandaise, smoked pulled pork hash). Let me say that like pork, but I'm not really a... More

As others have said, this is not a place for "intimate" dining. Being located centrally in a lobby shared by two restaurants and a coffee bar, it is extremely loud between the patrons of the restaurant and the people waiting to be seated. But hey, it's Disney! The menu is Asian themed and while there are only about 10 entree's,... More
