Farewell NBA City

We were lucky to accidentally eat at NBA City earlier than planned - it was the last day before they closed down! The food is great, the service was still good. We have eaten here 3X and surprised to know it was closing down after 17 years

Thought it was odd that we were not greeted by the hostess and actually ignored. When she finally lifted her head to acknowledge us, she brought us to a table. Now we were being ignored by the wait staff as well. The place wasn't too crowded, it was lunchtime. The staff did not appear to have any urgency or interest... More

After being here a few times over the last 2-3 years (and daughter's favorite restaurant) we turned up tonight at 630pm to find it closed! I read on here that it will be closing end of August (moving to Downtown Disney???), so gutted! Not sure if this is the "beginning" of the end... Now at Hard Rock Cafe...

I found a fly in my drink when I ate here. We were a group of 15 people and were prepared to spend. When I quietly mentioned the fly to the waiter, he shrugged and brought me a new drink - However he make us pay for both drinks!

What an absolute disappointment. Visited this restaurant as a birthday treat for a friends 14 year old son. The food was, at best, average. Three plates had to be returned as they arrived cold but generally the food was okay. The staff were disgrace to the service industry. The lady at reception was ignorant and could barely raise a grunt... More

Had a late diner after the blue man show. The place was dirty, sticky table and dirty sitting benches. The food was another disappointment. Served not hot, sweet potato fries were burned, pizzas had minimum amount of toppings and beer was nasty. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Easy to get to when leaving Universal or Islands of Adventure and very rarely a wait to be seated. Menu is a bit limited. Food is very average. Price for the quality of food is high. Hard Rock is a better option next door but they usually have a wait time.

When my mother couldn't handle the noise level at the Hard Rock Cafe, we left and went next door to NBA City for a late lunch/early dinner. When we first entered the restaurant and approached the hostess, she was having a conversation with a couple other employees. Her back was turned to us, and it took a few minutes for... More

My nephew insisted on eating here event though the reviews were not very good. I found it better than expected though. Very average in every way but no more pricey than anywhere else in the area. We had the combo appetizer, pizza, and chicken wings--filling but not exciting. The service was fine. I understand that it is closing. I suppose... More

We ate at NBA City for a late lunch. We were hot and hungry and there was not a long wait so we opted to eat here. While the server and service was great, the food was just okay and probably what I expected for a theme park restaurant. It was fun to see the NBA memorabilia. I ordered the... More
