It was nice to sit outside by the lake although it is a small area and you will have some animals about badgering you for food. When we were there, there was a squirrel that kept lying flat down on the... More

This is one of the best places to eat, if you like fish and chips. Little pricey, but worth it. Outside dining with a view of the waterway. They only have Fish and chips or cookies, so make sure that's what you want.

Just grab a basket, slap on some malt vinegar, and eat this on the way to the next country (Canada or France depending on which direction). It's good, it's hot, it's salty, it's tangy, and it makes me happy.

Being from a seaside town in a UK I've had better fish and chips at home. However I couldn't fault it and was really nice to feel back at home for a short time. Would definitely recommend!

The title says it all, but there is a need for more tables for eating these great chips and large planks of fish. Last time (Feb. 2014) we were there, we had to use benches and try to balance the meal on our laps because the benches were crowded! Also we had company of seagulls who were used to being... More

Well I am a brit and to be fair the chips from here are nothing like UK chippies but I love them. They are really tasty and I love the fact they have salt and vinegar on hand and the fake newspaper wrappers (that we dont get these days either) because it just adds to it. I always make sure... More
