I like fried dough, so I have to go for beignets. The rest of the food is normal Disney food. Meh...

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a cafeteria type restaurant that he located behind the front entrance of Port Orleans French Quarter. It is decorated with large masks and heads that show the spirit of Mardi Gras. There are separate sections where you can make your orders and another one just for drinks such as soda, coffee, tea, milk and... More

The Sassagoula is located in the Port Orleans French Quarter resort. It is their main restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and lots of yummy snacks. The restaurant is cafeteria-style. You order your food and it is handed to you and then you pay and sit at a table. It is nice and large, very clean and has a super fun... More

This was a convenient breakfast spot for us. The food is okay, and plenty of choice. Hubby and I laughed, because even with the magic of Disney, anytime there are kids and pancake syrup, they will find inventive places to leave a bit...

They had several different food choices but unlike quick service at the parks, you have to wait for your food to be prepared. At peak hours, the lines were long and the tables were full. After we had one lunch there, we decided to use the rest of our quick service meals at the parks.

For this to be the only meal location on the FQ it sure is my favorite. The staff is attentive and work fast. This place is easy to use as well and well organized.

We only ate at Sassagoula Floatworks one time. The breakfast we had was good. The portions were large. As with most Disney places to eat, it was on the expensive side, We were using the Dining Plan, so the price was not a big factor for us.

We have tried each of the food courts at the many resorts we have stayed at. Usually we eat there once or maybe twice and move on. We ate at the Sassagoula Floatworks a personal record of 6 times!! The pasta more than satisfied my picky pasta eater and I was pretty sold on the pot roast. Of course we... More

What's a trip to the New Orleans French Quarter without beignets? So glad the powers that be at Disney recognize that fact and continue to have beignets served at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. It's a unique touch that helps give the resort it's character. I was staying at Riverside but utilized the jogging path to get my beignet... More

We ate at Sassagoula regularily when staying at Port Orleans. What's great is that you can pick up a full pizza. After a long day in the parks, a take-out pizza with the kids is great. The beignets in the morning are hot to order and delish!
