Share in a one-of-a-kind celebration of music and culture as Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom at Universal CityWalk takes you on a musical journey through the life of the "King of Reggae." Bob Marley’s songs of faith, hope, rebellion, and determination have brought inspiration and joy to audiences everywhere. Working closely with Rita Marley and the Bob Marley Foundation, we have created a replica of Bob's home on 56 Hope Road in Kingston, Jamaica. Inside, artifacts, photos, and video clips from his legendary career surround visitors in the open-air veranda and courtyard. The cuisine features Jamaican-influenced appetizers, entrees and desserts. Some of the most popular items are the Oxtail Stew, the Sun is Shining grilled chicken breast marinated in Jamaican curry sauce, and the Taste of Jamaica appetizer platter featuring veggie & beef patties, mango wings and yucca fries.

Not exactly what I expected.

My husband chose this restaurant. It was quite different from every other place which was nice. The employees were friendly. The food was good. I had mahi mahi. And if you like Bob Marley, even better. Lots of memorabilia to see and things to read about him.

We visited in January, when winter weather is spotty (but that could be said of all of Florida's seasons, really)-some days were a high of 60, others 75. We knew this and planned our outdoor activities accordingly with the exception of this meal. We arrived to find that 3/4 of the tables are in an open area under the stars.... More

First off me say that I genuinely used to love this place the many times I have been here in the past, but not anymore. The service was very subpar and there was an extreme lack of attentiveness with said service. But that was not the worst of it all. The food was absolutely disgusting, I love Jamaican food -... Absolutely loved this place. It was certainly a nice respite from American food (Bubba Shrimp had a 1.5hr wait for food!), and looked like it was mostly full of locals. There was live music which added to the feel, and the food itself was delicious! The rum punch was fabulous too. I would definitely return.

Not sure if this is what Bob Marley would really want. Seems like a very commercialized place that is gouging people with overpriced Marley merchandise. That being said we didn't eat here. Just stopped in to listen to some good tunes and have a couple beers. DJ was kind of odd and not very good. Band that was playing did... More

Be prepared to eat exactly as you would at any traditional Jamaican kitchen table. The food was deep with flavor and made with authentic style. If you are to boring and straitlaced to pick the bones out and melt into the spicy flavors of the food and atmosphere...you may be to boring to eat here. This place was an escape from... More

Well we didn't have much time to get a chance to relax and enjoy the music because it started raining. I'm not sure how a place as such doesn't have a retractable roof since it rains in Florida every day all the time. Food was good, no complaints, the group had the jerk chicken, oxtails and drinks. Kudos to the... More
