On this trip to WDW we went to Sanaa twice. The first night we had the complete bread service and we split the lamb Lamb Vindaloo and Beef Short Ribs with basmati Rice. My wife had a scotch and I had a beer. The bread service was a little flawed because they were out of Papadams but they substituted some... More

Every thing was perfect, from the location, with a view of the savannah at Animal Kingdom Lodge, to the kids meals that made for us the parents the oportunity to try ethinc food, love the spicy taste, and the whole experience.

We enjoyed our visit to Sanaa for lunch. Being located in the Animal Kingdom Lodge complex, it is a bit out of the way from the normal Disneyworld haunts but that's no reason for avoiding Sanaa, especially if you're looking for good gluten-free food. Good starters (the naan plate is available with both regular or gluten-free naan) were followed by... More

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. It was one of, if not THE, best dining experiences we had on our vacation to WDW. We started with the Sangria and the appetizer sampler (samosas, sliders, and soup) and ordered the Slow Cooked in Gravy (Chicken Vindaloo and Seafood Curry) and the lamb shank entrees. The flavor profiles were simply incredible. The spices... More

Sanaa means art in Swahili and in this restaurant you are sourounded by it. Even the chairs are designed and made in Africa. The waitress (who was very knowledgeable on the subject) spent ages telling us about all the artwork. You can also get a booklet from the reception desk which gives you more information about the African art on... More

I came here for my birthday dinner while I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and the chef came and spoke with us for about 5 minutes about the menu and how he created it- very impressive! The food was awesome- a very flavorful Indian-African fusion. Decor was fun and festive and if you... More

This is the first time I have every been to a restaurant in the United States where I didn't have knowledge of ANYTHING that was served at the table!!! Every single dish was new to my palate, and unique to Africa. An amazing experience that everyone should allow themselves to try. Go with an OPEN MIND, and taste buds prepared... More

Stayed at the Animal Kingdom resort and ate here with my wife and 4 year old son. Was really looking forward to eating here based on reviews but left disappointed. My wife and I are adventurous eaters and enjoy Indian and African food. We live in average sized city with much better Indian/African food than what we had at Sanaa.... More

Great ambience in general and add Zebras, Long horns, Deers, Rabbits etc to the mix...simply cannot beat it. Food was great and the servcice was warm too. All in all it was a... More

The hotel and the animal kingdom lodge it is in is absolutely gorgeous. How fun it was to watch the wildlife from our table, including a rabbit who parked himself in the window. While we were waiting to be seated, we went outside to enjoy the wildlife. The food was excellent and the kids especially enjoyed the bread service. It... More
