Our little gamble paid off at Sanaa! Dining out of our family's comfort zone in the midst of the "savannah" was a small adventure. It was a feat just getting there after a day exploring some of the deluxe resorts. Landing at the Animal Kingdom Lodge was a fantastic way to top off our day. The resort itself takes over... More

We went on actual safari in a South African national park in September 2015. This was as close as you can come in the US to dinner in a game park lodge. We were lucky to be seated near the windows and got to watch the giraffes and other animals wander around. (Not quite as dramatic as the 12 lions... More

We went to dinner here on 1-26-16. We came to the resort and enjoyed the animals from an observation deck for about an hour. We then went down to Sanaa at 4:00pm. We asked about the restaurant tour. We had an excellent CM guide us and give us background on Africa and things around the restaurant. When that was finished... More

We had never eaten at a restaurant featuring East African dishes with seasoning from India. While most things were familiar, it was the combinations that were very surprising and satisfying. We shared an appetizer consisting of five different naan breads with nine accompaniments ranging from cucumber raita (mild) to red chile sambal (hot). This was a very large dish and... More

We had just checked into Kidani, Animal Kingdom, and were starving. What a pleasant surprise. Excellent food with flavors of Africa and India, reasonably priced by Disney standards. Way better than most of the sit down places at Disney resorts.

If you are not staying at this resort, you should definitely book a table at Sanaa! This way you can appreciate the amazing work that was done in order for you to feel like you are at another country! The venue is espectacular! The food was delicious and the portions were quite large. I would have enjoyed a little bit... More

I was afraid my husband wouldn't like it since the menu is a little exotic for his taste, but it was his favorite meal. Let me start off by saying, the atmosphere is incredible. Everything was clean, beautiful, and really well themed. Our server, I can't remember his name, was wonderful. He made sure our drinks were filled, and was... More

We were excited to try Sanaa. The atmosphere was nice enough and the staff were friendly. But the food was only mediocre and certainly not worth the price. There is definitely a Disney "up charge " going on here. 25 bucks for a small bowl of seafood curry, some rice, and some lentils. Desserts were totally disappointing. Kulfi is not... More

Incredible setting with excellent views of the savanna, delicious entrees (loved the shrimp dish and butter chicken) and fabulous bread service. Desserts are not to be missed. My sons loved the milk and cookies and S'mores pudding! My husband and I loved the dessert trio! See photos. This is one of the best ways to use a table service meal as... More
