Burger before the Show

We walked a few blocks from the Dr. Phillips looking for a place to grab a burger and a beer before a show. What a great find! Apparently, we just beat the rush before Trivia Nite. If you are looking for great pub food, reasonable prices, and friendly service, this is a great spot.

We stopped in here before we headed to "The Great Escape Room: A Real Life Room Escape Game" next door. They had a great selection. We went to up to the bar and were served immediately. I was excited to see that they had Blonde Guinness on tap. My friend was excited that they had Cider on draft. We took... More

This is a nice little place. The service is really good and the food is amazing! Don't walk too fast or you will pass the little doorway by, but that adds to the charm. There were some seedy characters hanging around on the corner... but they did not seem affiliated with the pub. Be careful anyway, it is downtown... ya... More

Great pub, and what was surprising was great food. We went there for late afternoon lunch. They have a good selection of beers, and a great lunch menu. I had the ribeye salad which was a very thin ribey grilled, and sliced over a bed of mixed salad. Definitely a repeater.

We visited after an ALL DAY TREK through Universal/ Islands of Adventure. While in "Hogsmead" we had some fish and chips with a sheppards pie to get us in the mood. The food there was "meh" but it left us all wanting the REAL THING! After we left the park past 9pm on Valentines Day, we realized there was going... More

My wife and I took the Sunrail to the stop at Church Street while attending a hockey game at the Amway Arena. Since we had no wheels, we looked for something to eat within walking distance of the rail station and the game. We found the Celt Irish Pub off of Magnolia St and am glad we did. We are... More

Actually two places, one The Harp, other next door The Celt Irish Pub. Many people don't know this and miss out on a great restaurant. Both serve alcohol. The atmosphere is completely different.

Went to a birthday party here with friends. Convivial atmosphere with multiple televisions and music playing, which was a bit loud. We had the fish and chips, which was good but the fries were too salty, and the corned beef sandwich, which is recommendable. Staff was very attentive.
