Inconsistent...great highs and deep lows...

I have been to miami many times and I also have many friends that are cuban and years ago when I went here it was really yummy. I went about 2 weekends ago and the rope vieja tasted weird. Like the tomato sauce was missing or something. im hoping that since we went very early (about 11am) that the stew... More

My husband and I ate at Padrino's and I have to say it is the best Cuban Restaurant we've been to in a long time! The waitress recommended the Churrasco Steak and it was phenomenal!! My husband had the Palomilla Steak and it too was delicious! I highly recommend anyone to try Padrinos! oh! and the Cubano Mojito was amazing... More

My husband and I went to this restaurant twice. The first time we had the Churrasco Steak - A skirt steak char-grilled with chimichurri sauce with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains. It was very good. The second time went there it didn't go so well. We ordered the Lechon Asado - slow roasted pork, marinated with citrus mojo... More

We enjoy Cuban food and the family atmosphere here. Loved the Cuban coffee, chimchurri steak, lechon asado (pork) and chilindron de carnero (lamb) and were very happy with both the service and the food. Would gladly come here again!

I crave good food from local restaurants. Orlando can be very challenging to find any independent restaurants - meaning, non-chain restaurants. We assumed that Padrino's might be this, but alas, it most definitely has a chain feel. However, chain restaurants can have good food. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The meat was fatty and not well-seasoned. The ribs were dry; pork... More

All five of us ordered something different, and were very pleased with our lunch. Service was excellent. I had the spicey blackened mahi mahi with yellow rice and vegetables, and it was more food than I could finish...in fact we were all too full to enjoy dessert!

Great flavor. Good service. Here visiting from the north but wanted something more local and less Disney. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Black bean soup was very tasty. Flan was some of the best ever.

My mother and I dined here last week and we were both impressed. The waitress brought out a large complimentary basket of plantain chips with garlic sauce... YUM! We started with soup, she had the white bean, I had the black bean.. both soups were outstanding and highly recommended. We each had a cuban sandwich, should have ordered one and... More
