Food and service were good but this place is overpriced

My wife and I went to Cuba Libre for a Friday night dinner. Pros: the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was good - a modern take on traditional Cuban food. The spinach and manchego bun~uelos were good. The pork belly was overcooked and charred, though... read more

Had a meal with a group here; service was polite but very slow. We waited an hour for our entrees. Food was interesting - some different things - and decently prepared. Drinks were good, quite a large variety with rum drinks a specialty. Overall, a bit expensive for what we got but in fairness it was our first time and... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel we stayed at and it was great! We had the set menu with several dishes and it was amazing!!!!!! The menu was very big (if you are very hungry its perfect). The service was excellent. I would definitely go back!

Best New Years Eve ever!!! My husband and I stayed at the Rosen Plaza for 1 night just to be closet to Cubre Libre. We had an excellent time! They had 2 dance floors. Both floors were crowded with people there was no room to dance you had to squeeze into dance but no one got upset when you bumped... More

If looking for a different restaurant to eat while visiting Orlando. Check out Cuba Libre in pointe Orlando . Food is not very authentic Cuban but very tasty our server john who knew the menu very well, explained to us the concepts and all his favorites. The mojitos are awesome but not very strong. Atmosphere is not like any other... More

The setting was like stepping back into little Havana, although with a Disney feel to it - everything shiny and new, replicated. The food was uninspired, although it was Cuban. This is an average place, nothing really stands out.

We were in Orlando over New Year's weekend and walked over to Cuba Libre from the Rosen Plaza. Fun setting and great atmosphere. We had a selection of Tapas appetizers including Spinach and Manchego Buñuelos, Cuban Sandwich Spring Rolls and Empanadas that were plentiful in quantity and very good. The Lechón Asado (pulled pork) was also a tasty main dish... More

The food was excellent as well as the desserts. Three things were missing in order to be called authentic cuban cuisine: 1. "Picadillo" needs to be in the menu. 2. When cuban coffee is served it needs to be strong, if not you should call it american coffee 3. Bread pudding need to be in the dessert menu But overall... More

We visited Cuba Libre in Orlando after several prior good experiences at Cuba Libre in Philadelphia. Alas, the Orlando branch does not measure up. Although the menu is similar and their signature, inventive rum drinks continue to please, the service in Orlando was subpar. We had a waiter who initially greeted us and brought water, then mysteriously vanished. We actually... More

This is a restaurant with good food. We have been to the one in Philadelphia several times and enjoyed it. We looked forward to going to this one when we discovered it in Orlando by "The Pointe". Unfortunately our waiter, John, didn't match the good food and nice setting. A plain bad attitude and someone who clearly didn't want to... More
