After traveling for 9 hours, we were ready for something decent to eat and not having to wait long to get it. We walked to Pointe Orlando and decided on Taverna Opa. Wonderful food!!!! The waiter was very attentive...of course it probably helped that we were the only ones in the place since it was after lunch and way before... More

I was excited to return to Opa after visiting a few years back. I remembered that it got a little loud and "rowdy" in the evening, but didn't recall it to quite the extent that it was. I was there with older family members who were not into the noise factor - they enjoyed seeing the belly dancers and such,... More

We were all very happy with out meal. Could have done without the the belly dancer, but when she we were not entertained she did not come back to table, The house wines are served in little tea type pitchers and not a good buy for the money. The food and the service were the best.

Wow...we reserved a table here because were in the mood for Greek food...little did we know we were going to be so entertained as well! The food was incredible...and the atmosphere? Lively! Although the music is loud, the choice of songs made you want to dance! The wandering belly dancer was entertaining. Be careful...you might even want to dance on... More

Kind of a fun place, loud, lots of music and belly dancers. Good Mediterrean food. We especially enjoyed the lamb ribs and the meatballs. The hummus is mashed at the table and the pita is served warm. The crispy zucchinni is also very tasty.

I went to Taverna Opa with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Overall we had a good time and had lots of fun dancing over the tables (my kids loved it too). Service on the other hand felt slow and inattentive. I'm not exaggerating when I say that we sat at the table for 12-15 minutes before the server came... More

In my opinion Taverna Opa is a great place to visit for drinks and appetizers from my most recent experience. I had the fun experience of eating dinner there on a previous visit to Orlando and sat inside with a group. The entertainment was fantastic. I could not wait to bring my family there. It was a beautiful night and... More

We hosted a large business dinner at the Taverna Opa during a recent conference. While the place is "electric", it is a horrible place for a business dinner. The music is too loud to hold a conversation and the dancer was border line with dollar bills hanging off her "bell". Had to keep reminding myself I was at a restaurant.... More
