Pleasantly Surprised

I ate at Trails end for the first time a few weeks ago and I can say that I was very impressed! The food was good (especially the strawberry shortcake) atmosphere was fun and service was great! I would say that Trail's End is. Hidden gem when it comes to Disney World Restaurants!

We had dinner here last week. This is a great place to go to get away from the Magic Kingdom for awhile. It's a nice boat ride over and there's always a huge selection of country food. This is definitely a great place to go with kids and adults. The buffet is reasonably priced compared to other Disney buffets. We... More

I ate dinner here for the first time last week. We had a large group (18 people) so we had made reservations, but it took them 40 minutes after the reservation to seat us. Thankfully there is a playground outside so the kids were able to run around. The food was great. I really enjoyed there ceasar salad and brisket.... More

We have eaten at the Trail's End buffet for breakfast and dinner many times, and both are excellent. We did also order takeout on one occasion when we were in a hurry, and the food was of the same quality as the buffet. Service is always great; empty plates are cleared from the table quickly, I have never been left... More

We were here on a whim...decided to have a down home meal. It was absolutely freezing in FL the night we visited and despite having a PS we waited for more than 40mins. The server was great and there was plenty of food. Really enjoyed this place!

have eating there many times while camping at Fort Wilderness. Good food and buffet. Pricey but you expect that at Disney. Nice atmosphere Sit on the porch and rock while you wait. Food is as good at the Hoop Dee Doo show next door. Give it a try.

I don't usually go all our for breakfast, but at Trail's End you have to indulge in their rich, fatty buns, biscuits and french toast pudding. You are after all taking a trip back in time to the pioneer days. Might as well truly immerse yourself in that lifestyle. The setting is very western with a lot of wood rafters... More

Always enjoy this buffet! I would not say it was the best this time. Food was not as hot as it should be. Bowl on ice cream bar was full of chocolate, and I go it all over my hands! When presented to the chef, as he came out of the kitchen, he didnt offer me a napkin to wipe... More

My family and I visited Disney World during Christmas 2014. We made reservations for Trail's End and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This restaurant has a southern buffet menu with fried chicken, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, roast beef and so much more. My husband and I also had a mixed cocktail (moonshine) that was delicious. Our waiter was wonderful! My family... More
