The main restaurant (and seating area) was closed during my 3/31 visit. The services were split between two food carts with no seating. We had to walk around with our pulled pork sandwiches until we could find a wall to sit on. Average pulled pork for the over priced Disney norm.

Love the smoked chicken and ribs. This is counter service only with a large amount of lovely outside eating options. I was disappointed when I went in January and found it under renovations. I will be heading back in Sept. 2015.

Every year we have to stop and have Barbeque at this Animal Kingdom restaurant. Portions are big and tasty. Main choices are 1/2 slab of ribs and chicken & ribs. All dinners are served with delicious baked beans and cole slaw. This year the cole slaw was replaced by a very tasty cornbread. This place does not disappoint.

Flame Tree is a must-stop for us every time we visit DAK. The portions are more than adequate and very tasty. Have tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. It's not your typical American BBQ so expect something a little different -- very good but different. It's a great place to eat especially if you are on... More

We were spending a day at DAK. It was early a little after 11.00am & were both feeling a little hungry. Normally I don't do Turkey sandwiches, but the ones both my-self & wife had were really nice to my surprise. We sat in a covered eating area near the lake with Everest in the back ground. I would definitely... More

I dont know what all the hype is about this place, I LOVE BBQ, based on the reviews I was soooooo excited to eat here, we all had ribs and they were NASTY!! there isn't much to choose from. The only thing that was decently good was the fruite salad and I mean you cant really mess that up...lol

We arrived at DAK in time for lunch and decided to try something new, the Flame Tree Barbecue quick-service restaurant. The food there is great! We all got pulled pork sandwiches with fresh coleslaw, baked beans, and a side of their signature barbecue sauce. There is covered seating right next to where you order and the colorful seating sections are... More

We ate here the day we spent at Animal Kingdom. The ribs are the best...skip the chicken. The meal comes with a sweet corn bread, baked beans and 6-8 ribs. My husband is a big eater and this filled him up. Great tender smoky ribs. They have BBQ sauce but you dont need them they are good all by themselves.... More

I had the slab of ribs and it was decent (I've had much better and I have had worse). It was served in a covered box with baked beans and cole slaw. I found a nearby bench to sit on and opened the box to discover no plastic ware, napkins etc. So, I went back to the window and asked.... More
