If you want REAL authentic Cuban food or Puerto Rican food, this is where you go. Not "fancy" inside, but the waitresses are sweet, attentive and eager to make you feel like you are the only ones there. The "pasteles to go" I ordered for me and some for my Dad, tasted even better the next day, well, the few... More

My lady and I visited this restaurant this past Sunday afternoon in anticipation of some great Mexican food. They did not have any Mexican beers and no Pinot Grigio For my lady The server was absolutely horrible and the food equally as bad.... Pork burrito filled with cheese and no pork and my girls salad was a complete joke... No... More

I have been to this restaurant 3 times. This is a casual restaurant with a regular decoration, and friendly staff The first time, I wasn't really impressed with the food, but the last two times what we ordered was really good and that is what makes me give 4 stars instead of 3. The seafood mofongo is delicious, and he... More

so glad we didn't have to pay full price for our meals....my friend got a seafood salad which she enjoyed, we both thought the chips were awful and we even asked for fresh ones, they were hot but still they were not worth eating because of the taste, don't really understand that, weird. They asked if we wanted the cheese... More

My husband and I visited Ramirez tonight. We found a deal on groupon, and were looking for somewhere to go with the kids that wasn't too expensive. The service was great. The food was decent....but for those prices, what do you expect??!! I definitely wasn't expecting a gourmet meal, and i didn't receive one. But what I did receive was... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant twice. The first time, they overcharged us ten dollars, then apologized profusely when I caught it. Thinking it may have been accidental, we tried it a second time with a Groupon certificate for $40. My wife was told we could not use the certificate because our bill was $37 - which was a... More

Tried this place tonight because it seems to be busy on the weekends. Must be underage drinkers singing Karaoke, cannot possibly be for the food. Had chips and "salsa" - actually cold tomato sauce or watered down ketchup, not sure which one. Food came - again with the tomato sauce on my dinner, my husband had canned beans and tasteless... After leaving Miami, we looked for some authentic Cuban and Caribbean dishes...never expected to find them in Orange Park! The service is good, and the food and Sangria even better. We have recommended Ramirez several times without hesitation, and we always enjoy going there ourselves.
