We dined here for the first time in years and we were disappointed. My son is a snow crab addict and we came here Monday so he could take advantage of their all you can eat special. While my son had the crab, the rest of us had fried fish. First of all there was a severe fundamental problem. While... More

I visited Whitey's today it was not my first time. Easy to get to the location is on the river next to a main through fare. Parking is plentiful. I went at lunch time and it was quite busy. The staff was over whelmed which is standard from what they told me. So do not be surprised if the cook... More

Best local sea food in the area. Prices are fair and service is great. Easy to get to by Boat or Car. This one of those places if you don't go both you and they loose.

Nice location with a broad offering of seafood. Place was packed but got seat rather quickly and the service was superb. Food came out rather quickly and waitress continuously check on our needs. Will definitely revisit this restaurant.

After being away from the area for almost 40 years, we stopped at an institution on Swimming Pen Creek. The decor is authentic down home country style. We were encouraged by very good sweet tea. I wish I could say the same for the lunch special fried "pollock" and fries with hush puppy and fried catfish. The last time I... More

Whitey's has come a long way from that once little fish camp of days gone by!!! I haven't been here in ages. This place has grown by leaps and bounds. We were pleasantly surprised to find it open on New Years day. We both had the special of the day, which was described as "the popcorn shrimp basket". Me being... More

Thank you for your positive response. Even more rewarding is the reaction that you indicate that you and your husband had regarding your visit with us. Wow...does this make us happy. We believe all guests should both expect and receive a high level of service. Thanks for sharing your memorable experience with others. More

Whitey's does have good Southern Seafood and they once stood alone in Southern Fried Catfish in NE Florida. Their southern fried seafood is good and the Fishcamp atmosphere is neat. This is must stop when visiting NE Florida. Give their fried fish sandwich a try, you can't find places like this in south Florida.

We came for dinner - 4 in party total. Beer prices were reasonable, but the main courses were pricey - which would be okay if it had tasted better. I had a pasta with wine sauce and shrimp. I expected large shrimp (we are in Florida) and received it with salad shrimp on top. A big disappointment. My husband had... More

What a terrific review. You covered virtually every aspect of what we think a customer should be evaluating when choosing a business such as ours. Included in your review was also the mention of the need in our multicultural society for variety. We are pleased to provide this variety to our community and look forward to seeing you again. This place reminds me of old Florida although it is safe for Yankees. Seriously this is a fun restaurant. We enjoyed some nicely fried seafood at reasonable prices. However the kicker is that as the night goes on it turns into a wonderfule place to see a band
