Country breakfast gone bad.

We ate breakfast here for the first time the other morning and it was just not good. The gravy was like paste, the biscuit was gummy, the toast was soggy and the egg was undercooked. Will not go back.

4 of us were driving thru Orange City at lunch time today. We saw the sign, "the place where locals eat'. Our waitress was efficient, courteous and pleasant. We all 4 ordered the Fish Fry which is ALL the fish, fries and Cole slaw you can eat. The fish was light, not "fishy tasting or smelling", the coating was not... More

Over the past twenty years I have visited this restaurant several times. The food was mediocre at best and for some reason every time I was unlucky enough to have a server that was full of irritating attitude. For the life of me I cannot understand how they are still in business but they are and they are thriving.

The place was recommended by locals as we were passing through town & we were looking for a local spot for breakfast.(Diner Style). This was a regular restaurant with a great location and nice people but based on the food........I would not recommend. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss cheese omelet with a side of turkey sausage . My friend... More

This use to be a really nice little diner. Cheap oil, and cheap food products have ruined this places meals. My wife and I went here to, 9/29/14 for a late breakfast and wow...we were ill the rest of the afternoon. The oil that the potatoes were fried in was cheap and rank and ruined all of the rest of... From reading the reviews I must conclude that some of Gram's waitresses aren't ready for the big time. Fortunately some are and our's was. The food here is good, inexpensive and they serve beer and wine if anybody cares. It's not fast food but it's a real restaurant with a full menu and lots of specials.

My husband and I really like Gram's Kitchen and we go there regularly. The food and service are always very good, but can take a while on Sundays because they fill up with the Church crowd which thins out at noon. I like the fact that you can seat yourself here. There are always 4-5 attractively priced specials and today... More

This place used to be great. My wife and I sat down and it was 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. Four tables filled up after us. We were chatting and messing with our phones and noticed a take get their food. Then another, and another and then all of the tables that came after us had their... More

I read the reviews on Trip Advisor suggesting this might be a good place to eat. My mother had seen it as she drove by and thought it would offer good home cooked meals. We were shocked. This is possibly the worst restaurant any of us ever ate at in our lives. I ordered a beer that was brought warm... More
