I had dinner at Rumba with 4 friends last night, and it was a fantastic experience. Daniel, our server, was very attentive and took excellent care of us. He made recommendations, all of which were great, from the cocktails to the appetizers to our entrees. The calamari was perfectly prepared, the the Rum Libation punch was marvelous, and the Rasta... Were there as a group. Had the mahi-mahi and it was very good. Our group was over 30 people and the service was very good considering how many people we had.

stopped in while in the Oldsmar area for dinner (7pm) on a Thursday night, the restaurant was busy but not crowded. Selection of high-top tables, booths or bar service and outside seating was available. Menu was a good selection of traditional fare with a Caribbean twist to the offerings. The habanero muffins were more like mini corn muffins and did... More

Stay away from the Cuban sandwich. This is Florida and "The Cuban" is its claim to fame in sandwich choices. This one had no taste and instead of layered ingredients, the filling looked like dog food with some relish. My friend had the coconut shrimp which were ok. Service was acceptable a "C". I was looking forward to trying the... More

The food is really good I had the salmon coquettes with asparagrass and holiday sauce. The early bird menu is so economical. The Happy Hour has 2 for 1 and the drinks are great. The service was also great.i

Stopped here for lunch with a business associate. We ordered burgers and they came out quickly and cooked the way we ordered them. This is a nice quiet place (music not loud) and .well suited for a having lunch time conversations.

On January first, we were tired and wanted something close to our hotel in Oldsmar. When we arrived the place was empty which worried me a bit. Our family had fish dishes and everything was excellent. I had the coconut encrusted mahi mahi and it was the best fish of my trip. You get little corn muffins with your meal,... More

Went here today 1/6/15. We decided to try the Killer Hog Fish Sandwich that was advertised in the local paper as the worlds best and biggest. The Cuban bread was soft and delicious, presentation was nice. I had lettuce, tomatoes, red onions on the side. It came with a sweet slaw on the side. The portion was not big and... More

Service was good but plates could have been cleared sooner. Stacks of app plates remained while the meals were being served. Food was excellent. Sautéed vegetables could not have been any more fresh and this visit was close to 9 pm. Really enjoyed a mouthful of ingredients from start to finish in my quesadilla. Can't stand how most make you... More
