I love tripadvisor for so many reasons and tonight just reaffirmed my gratitude for everyone's reviews!! We were traveling across FL from Tampa to West Palm Beach... we began searching for a restaurant and came upon this gem! We called and they held a table for us. We ordered a large platter of very fresh oysters! So yummy! My mom... More

Great selection of all our faves and things we've never tried. Gator, frog legs, oysters, yum yum!! And kid size catfish fingers! We'll be back😊

If you love seafood, there will be something on the menu for you. If you're an adventurous "foodie", there's definitely something for you. I am not, so I stuck to a safe meal of halibut. But if gator or catfish or frog legs is your thing, they have it. The ambiance and memorabilia was interesting. Unfortunately, the service was very... More

This is one of those places that you go to when you don't mind sitting with the rest of your company for an hour waiting on your food. The service is horribly slow. The upside is, that the food is equally as good as the service is bad.

Quite a variety of seafood and other choices. One of the few places that we've found in south Florida where they offer whole catfish. We were here a couple of years ago in mid summer. It was considerably less crowded than mid-season 2015.

We had dinner at Lightsey's last night - our first meal in town. So glad we did! The service was very good and the food was amazing! We had the gator appetizer and the shrimp dinner and catfish fingers. Portions were large and fairly priced and more importantly...delicious! We left very full and satisfied. Our server, Martha, was very friendly... More

Arrived at Lightseys for dinner at 5:55 PM. Upon arriving at the greeters station we were informed the wait would be about 20 or 25 minutes. We went back outside and waited around the non functioning bar. At 6:35 we were told it would be about 5 more minutes. At 6:45 we were finally seated. As we were waiting we... More
