Small country kitchen. Food is great! Everyone knows about the Okee burger! Open all hours. Late night after the bar or early morning for breakfast! Always good!

All you would expect from a local "mama's kitchen"! Ate here several times while staying across the street at Pier II Resort. An unbeatable combination. A fantastic place to stay with home cooked meals so close. It's the best!

Restaurant looks small but has plenty of seating. Menu offers a good variety at modest prices. Never had a bad meal there.

Had the Skunk Ape burger which was excellent. Had a side order of fries and the waitress asked me if I'd like some malt vinegar as she could tell I was from the UK, which was really nice of her. Had a nice long chat with her. She was really friendly. Worth missing breakfast for.

We were here for breakfast back in January and were favorably impressed. Were in Okeechobee at lunch time Sunday, and decided to try again. I had the "No Name Fish" dinner, and my wife had the Fisherman's Platter. Both were excellent, and the young lady who served us was great. This is definitely going to become a regular place for... So we were heading back home to Clearwater by way of the country roads near Lake Okeechobee and we decided to see if there would be a little place where we could get some fried catfish. So we checked out our Trip Advisor app and found Uncle Larry's. Sure enough, little place, not fancy at all and off the beaten... More

The building is quite ordinary but typical of the area. The inside is nothing to rave about either. After all, the isn't a fine dining establishment. My wife and I split an Okee Burger and an order of fries. We didn't finish. It wasn't because it wasn't good. It was. We didn't finish because n Okee burger is 3/4 pounds... More
