Visiting on weekend for Rodeo

We like it! Outside looked really bad, but food was really good. Tables are close together and lighting is low. They really got you in and out, but we had a nice time and was able to be seated in a corner table which was nice because there was a lot of large tables around us. They served a... read more

We were informed that this building might, at one time, have been a fish processing facility, hence the name. Yet, there are no fish dishes on the menu, mainly steak. We arrived with a large group and were seated in a separate room. It was quite dark in the restaurant and it was lacking in any kind of atmosphere. Perhaps... More

My husband and I occasionally visit the Brighton Casino in Okeechobee. It is about l hr and 15 minutes from our home and a pleasant drive through farmland. Our past experiences with steakhouse restaurants in Okeechobee were disastrous. The steaks tasted as if they had been stored in salt. This restaurant is at the intersection of Route 70 and Hwy.... Spent a few days in Okeechobee and the front desk clerk at the Hampton sent us here. Looks like a little hole in the wall but what a great steak they serve. Great "guys" and lots of fun. Worth the trip. Don't look for fish on the menu. The name is a joke.

This restaurant was absolute chaos. It took more than 10 minutes to actually get our name on a waiting list, then there is no where to wait, so we stood among the dining tables. Despite the fact that there were open tables, in 20 additional minutes of waiting, we did not see a single table seated, nor did we see... More

Well, they do have catfish. We went there on Valentine's Day, a test for any restaurant. Like most other restaurants on a holiday, the staff was stressed, dealing with a line at the door and most table full. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation, but while lining up at the bar while waiting for a table, we... More

We had 10 people for dinner at the birthday. 7 people get sick, were not sure what item made us all sick, it may have been the house made Ranch Dressing, that's about the only item everyone had in common.

We stopped in this great venue for an early dinner around 6 P.M. We were greeted by a friendly and professional young waiter who immediately delivered a relish tray to our table. My beautiful companion and I both ordered steaks. I requested mine with NO SALT or other seasoning which was no problem. But first we were brought two great... More

As stated in other reviews, don't judge a book by it's cover. This place may look run down and not very appetizing but the quality of the steaks far outweigh the lack of ambiance. We met some friends here to as they were in town for a tournament and wanted a nice steak dinner. We each had a different item... More
