We had one night in town and being Brits chose the Amrit palace as we needed a curry meal. We were not disappointed, great meal, great staff, great service.

We chose this restaurant because of the high rating on Trip Advisor and because of the high recommendation from the staff at the Ocala Hilton a short distance away. We were thrilled by our visit to Amrit Palace. The food and staff were both superb. We had some questions about some of the Indian dishes and they explained them very... More

I had the lamb curry. This is the second time overall that I have had lamb curry in general I have decided I don't like it it. Not Amrit fault. But my husband had the goat curry delic! Oh and the appetizer delic. So i would Def go back.

We were passing through on our way to Daytona Beach and decided to stop solely based on the TA reviews. So glad we did! The menu is extensive, the food freshly and very well prepared. You can choose how spicy you would like your dish, which is nice for those of us with "wussy" palates. Service was outstanding. Our waiter... More

My friend & I visited for lunch before going to the movies. The lunch specials included soup, entree, rice and naan. We decided to order different entrees to share, but we really wanted palak paneer also. When we told this to our waiter, he said he could bring us a half order. We were delighted. Bobby also asked us how... More

The restaurant is clean. I have a partial hearing loss, so depending on which waiter I have, the accent can be problematic. I always look for the least seasoned/spiced entree. The meals have been good. The only problem I have is this & other restaurants will not substitute even when the request is due to dietary restrictions. I can not... More

The reviews said this was supposed to be authentic, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Dinner For Two, which came with a nice variety of appetizers and entrees plus dessert. Everything was cooked nicely, meat tender, sauces delicious. I could have taken a ton of the homemade naan bread home with me! Even if you... More

Let me start off by saying that I've had Indian cuisine all over the world when I traveled. I've had curry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. One of my favorites is chicken curry (Chicken karahi) and until I had it at Amrit, I thought that the last time I would enjoy Chicken karahi is if I traveled back to... More

No matter what you choose, it will arrive in a timely fashion, hot and delicious. We love the mater paneer and shrimp shag. Also the samosas can be a meal with riata. Love this place.
