I have been going to By Word Of Mouth for years. There food is outstanding and always the best service. I have ordered several birthday cakes and even my wedding cake from here. I was told that my wedding cake was the absolute best that anyone has had.(It was beautiful also). Recently in July we had them cater my mothers... more

We live in Ft Lauderdale and save By Word of Mouth for special occasions, so it is always a treat to go there. It is a smallish place (an old house?) and may be hard to find the first time you go, but MAN, is it worth it. They don't have a menu, but large glass deli cases with examples... more

Food connoisseurs will love this place. We have gotten the pesto/sundried tomato pate here for years. The food is classified as French and is very rich and creamy (a little too much). The menu changes daily and yes, they don't advertise. Their reputation is by word of mouth... more
