Cuban Delicious!

I skipped lunch and was famished for an early (5:00) dinner and was thus the first diner that night. The staff was, of course, attentive and helped me decide what item to order. Have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. We love the specials - great prices, authentic cooking. The salsa is fresh and bright flavors, the plaintains are always perfectly carmelized, and the black beans and rice.......well, all of my out of town friends demand we go back as soon as they get here! The roasted chicken, Ropa... More

We ordered some appetizers to have before our main dish. We wished we hadn't done that. First because the size were too big for starters. Second, and most importantly, because they were plain bad, the yuca frita was hard and tasteless. After that disappointing start we received our main dishes with low expectations. In all fairness the main dishes were... More

Made a return visit to this restaurant while we were in Wilton Manors. Ordered the Cuban sandwiches with fries. It is a large sandwich which can be shared by another. The ambiance in the restaurant wasn't particularly great as this time there was a roof leak right by our table. They put a large bucket to catch the leak, but... More

I ordered and was served the best Churrasco steak (Argentinian) I ever had. The chimichurri sauce was outstanding.

As a Cuban-American from Miami, I did not expect to find good Cuban food in Broward. Well, was I ever wrong. The food here is better than any place I can think of in Miami. My brother from Miami agrees. The people are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The lechon asado is amazing. You cannot go wrong with this... More

Once a year when we are town, we plan at least one lunch here. Nothing fancy, just good Cuban food at reasonable prices. Being a creature of habit, I always order the Lechon asado. The shredded pork is very tender and the black beans are delicious. Definitely worth a try.

Love this place. Food is fresh, delicious & authentic. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Great lunch menu (daily specials) that is a wonderful value. I have the grouper w/green sauce & shrimp, rice & peas, plantains. My partner had the fried grouper, rice & peas, plantains. Place is clean, service is great. Thank you Myra for being such a wonderful... More
