In Lauderdale looking for good Cuban food, try this one. A family run restaurant with husband and wife working and running restaurant. Ambiance what one might find in the islands--nothing fussy. Honest food with good service. Tried the deep fried pork with beans and plantains--excellent flavors.

This is one of the best options of lunch and/or dinner that you could go to in Broward county. Fort Lauderdale has many Latin restaurants, this one is the best for Cuban food. Period. Whether you are in a tight budget or would like to buy a weekly "cantina" (food ready to pick up after you finish at the office,... More

Had read the reviews so we decided to try it while in Oakland Park. Fajitas came without beans or rice, very little lettuce and tomatoes. Beans were extra!?! Margarita was not good. My friend had the nachos. Sad sad nachos. Can't recommend.

We were taken here by our friends who live just North of Fort Lauderdale and we had a great time. It was our first experience of Cuban food and it was brilliant. We had the salsa starter followed by the pork with Margaritas to drink. Service was excellent, food of great quality and price reasonable. the decorated coffee to complete... More

While attending a recent travel convention, we found this Cuban restaurant. It was very good; my friend had a steak, and I had the taco salad. The chips and salsa were yummy! Too bad they're in FL and I'm in CO.

The service was excellent & the food was very good. My husband loved his Cuban sandwich & Cuban coffee. The fried yucca was the best I ever tasted. My pork sandwich was also good.

This is simply one of the best dining experiences anyone will ever have in a restaurany. This is why i come here on a regular basis. Consistent service and exceptional top motch cuban food. They offer both cuban & mexican entrees but I mainly stick with the cuban side. They have daily lunch specials that start at $4 and finish... More

I came to Florida from Arizona wanting to try some genuine Cuban food. I think I got what I came for at Fuego Latino. But I think if they would decide their identity, whether they're Cuban or Mexican, they could attract a more genuine crowd of patrons looking for something more specific. Anyway, me and my buddy ordered empanadas, pork... More

Heard about Fuego Latino from our valet guy at our hotel. Thank god we listened to him. The food, service, atmosphere was perfect from beginning to end. Had the oxtail stew and my wife had the roast pork. It was deliciouso!!! And the Fuego sampler appetizer was amazing. You name it. It was on the plate. Emapanads, papa rellena, mariquitas.... More

I had marinated grilled skirt steak, topped with a light white wine butter sauce with shrimp. sides were plantains, white rice and black beans. It was top notch, juicy and super tender And well seasoned. The margaritas are excellent. The only thing that needed improvement was the salsa (needed more fresh onion and garlic please). Nelson the waiter was excellent,... More
