I love Mexican food. I always have since I was a child. My problem is choosing among tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tamales, tostadas, chicken mole' or some other dish that is great. That is why I generally gravitate to the 'combination meal'. Alas, La Bamba has almost no combination choices. I tried their Chicken Mole'. While it tasted good, it certainly... More

Stopped in after checking in at local hotel. Gets on my nerve when hostess says "Just one?" Guess a single person isn't enough? I wasn't sure what I wanted so asked for a few minutes to decide. That got me about 20 min without service. Warning hot salsa is hot - very good, but hot. Chips were warm and crispy.... More

Terrible. The salsa tastes like crushed tomatoes. Overall, the food was mediocre at best. What tips the scale to terrible? All three of us that visited and ate there Monday night got violently sick that night. Sick sick sick. Never again.

We eat here with the kids a lot as they offer something for everyone. Also good for couples or groups. Our favorites are the carnitas and the stuffed peppers. Chips and salsa are both very good, fresh and included in your meal. I can't say I feel this is authentic Mexican but we always enjoy ourselves and the food and... More

I went on a Saturday for lunch. The place just opened and I was seated and served quickly. The place is casual and clean. I Wa given chips and salsa. I ordered the Mass destruction Puerco, fried pork. It was served with raw onions, rice and blackbeans with plantains. This was on the lunch specials menu. Big portions and reasonably... More

We visit La Bamba often. Why? The food is excellent, the portions are very generous, the prices are reasonable, food comes out HOT from the kitchen, and everything is consistently good. Steaks are cooked exactly as ordered. Tortilla chips are fresh, hot, abundant, and free. La Bamba is not like other restaurants that tease you with a few chips, and then... More

We've been eating here about once a month since it opened. It has served consistent good quality food at good price. The Fajitas are a great value, and every thing else I've tried has been good. I recommend it.
