Not just a fish shack. The freshest local catch. Sweet and delicious with fabulous water views. Amazing prices. Can't wait to return

This place is a treasure. The best fish sandwich I've ever had. Fresh snapper, grilled WITHOUT OIL ( lime juice only) and done to perfection ! Absolutely nothing fancy but exec chef Jimmy Rodriguez has a gem here. Near Oleta River State park. Don't miss this for some fantastic fish.

This restaurant is right on the waterway in North Miami Beach, Fl. Everything is fresh and made to order. You eat outside on picnic tables close to nature. Very tropical vibe.

Visited on a Friday. Bunch of locals with gathered around a Bon Fire with an awesome atmosphere. Tried the fish tacos and smoke fish that was delicious. they had 5 people working the line. Chef was walking around talking to people getting feedback seems they have made some upgrades in staff. This is place is catering to the locals. No... More

There was one person working there, taking money and preparing food. Did not wear gloves while preparing food. Did not wash hands between taking the payment, and preparing our food. Handled my lobster patty and my partner's hot dog weiner with ungloved fingers, not tongs. Handled the lettuce & tomato that accompanied my lobster patty with ungloved fingers, not tongs.... More

We were at Oleta park and had a few brewskies and fish tacos are the Blue Marlin. Very quiet place close by nature. Really pleasant. Food was good. Beer cold. Just very pleasant.

We stopped here for lunch thanks to the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives appearance. We liked the casual feel, the location is nice and the service was friendly, but we found the food average at best. The smoked fish was tough (no flakiness inside like Guy Fieri advertised) and we needed the sauce served with it to get it down. Ordinarily... More

Great! My wife found the Blue Marlin Fish House and suggested we try it. The smoked fish dip was excellent and the fish sandwiches are a must try. There was only one person in the kitchen taking orders and preparing the food, but the service was still good. Sitting outside in the Florida summer under ceiling fans was part of... More

I recently revisited to BMFH after a very enjoyable kayak trip at Oleta river state park. The kayak vendor also is the new owner of this little place. While I was quite happy with the service and in fact the snapper sandwich, I feel like I should clear something up. Despite what you have heard, what the menu says, or... More

I found this place on the food network while looking for local places with a unique twist. The smoked fish (blue marlin) dip is out of this world! Also indulge yourself with the smoked fish sampler. Wow! The food is fresh abundant! I brought it home to serve to serve guests and everyone just loved it! I'll be back!!!
