Having been to Morton`s in Toronto on a few occasions I expected better. The room ambiance, including furnishings, carpet and lighting is very, very tired and is totally void of character. Food was average at best. Service was adequate. I enjoy the company of children, but there were too many little children, one of whom was busy actually licking the... More

My husband and I have been going to Morton's for years...all over the country, by the way. This is the first time I felt we were being frowned upon. What, not enough bling? We tried the restaurant twice hoping the staff would allow us to relax over dinner and savor our meal. This was not the case. My son was... More

Not a place I'd call "romantic" but the service was good and the food was tasty. Great place for a group of friends looking for a place to grab a drink and good steak.

Came on a Friday night. Glass of wine sent back. Bottle have been open for days. Tasted as vinegar. Fish ordered by one was very fishy tasting and spoiled. Ribeye ordered by me was mediocre. I've had better it Lonestar. Disappointing because I used to love Morton's. It was always a special place. Now just very expensive without a special... More

This is an expensive place and I had hoped for more of an experience.  Once seated, we were tackled by the bread delivery person, the water person and the waiter, , , with a pen and paper in hand and promptly asked what we wanted for dinner?  We had not even picked up the menu yet?   He went away... Having been to Morton's in Chicago, I automatically assumed that this restaurant would be on par.....I was so wrong. You had to fight your way through 2 sets of doors wondering if you are at the right place; this was certainly not very welcoming at all. The restaurant could certainly do with a face lift. Our party of 5 were... More

We couldn't get seated at Houston's so we went here. Very good experience, quick and attentive service, very good food, especially the filet mignon and the lemon pie

Steaks are now smaller. They must do this so a couple will not share. Place is not what it used to be. Service is there but I feel the quality has suffered. Much prefer Capital Grill.

Having been invited by good friends and heard some good reports about Morton's, I was actually looking forward to a quality night out, but no I was totally let down by our Morton's experience. Even upon arrival I was concerned the entrance lobby is drab and unwelcoming. although the hostess welcomed us with a smile. The restaurant was not busy,... More
