Authentic Cuban Cuisine

Convenient if you are visiting Johnson & Wales University. Diverse patrons. Authentic Cuban cuisine. Hint: Mix your black beans with your rice instead of ordering the black bean soup.

Pricey... very small portions.... and dry. I grew up on authentic Spanish cooking from moms and tia! And if this place wants to pretend to be cooking up some Spanish food, it's a joke. I've been to those "hole-in- the walls" kind of Spanish restaurants and they make me feel like I am tasting the REAL DEAL SPANISH COOKING! Not... More

Sizable restaurant, really good Cuban food, well prepared. Waiters have a bit of a language barrier, unless you speak Spanish. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Only recommendation might be to cut down a bit on the salt.

Definitely a place to eat and experience some of the BEST Cuban food. If you like white rice and black beans make sure you order the "congri". Don't forget to end your meal with a "cortadito".

Major disappointment. Early dinner, and the place was not busy at all. 6_8 servers were sitting and it still took us several minutes to be acknowledged and more minutes for someone to approach our table. Ordered sangria. Apparently Havana Sangria means made with canned fruit cocktail, syrup and all. Ordered garlic shrimp, and the shrimp tasted off. Shredded beef was... More

My husband and I dine here frequently. The food is always freshly prepared and the wait staff is always on point with service. There's an appetizer called Mariquitas(which are thinly fried green plantians) that's served with a garlic sauce, is so delicious! Their black beans and rice is amazing as well as their picadillo(ground beef). The prices are resonable and... More

Having been around for 24 years, it's time for them to revamp and attempt to try and reach back for their former goodness. Service was OK but the food was just average and the décor needs a sprucing up.

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews and we didn't disappointed. The food is very good, you must try the empanadas! The service is very good as well, it was pretty empty, probably because it was late. It's a big restaurant with lots of light, do not expect a romantic ambiance, it's more average for families. I definitely... More

Little Havana has the best Cuban food on Biscayne BLVD. Service is good, servings are generous, and it is not expensive. Start off your meal with some mariquitas, they are thin, crispy, and delicious. The Little Havana steak or the Pork Tamarindo are my favorite dishes. Their chicken soup is just what the doctor ordered if you catch a cold... More
