Wonderful place for locals. Great & consistent food / quality is excellent. Can be quite noisy. Bistro type of ambience. Excellent menu offers a nice selection of French specialties. As Miami residents, we highly recommend Petit Rouge. Must make a reservation!

Excellent food and the place is very pretty. Makes you feel like you are in Paris, but with great service.

Located in a strip mall along Biscayne Blvd in North Miami, you have to know it is there or you will never find it. My wife had an excellent mushroom soup while I chose a tasty onion tarte. The tarte would have been quite enough for two people (the size of a small pizza !) My wife then had the... More

I have to share a tiny treasure in North Miami if French cuisine is your fancy. No...change that to, delicious culinary treat. For me, the foie gras was delicate and delicious, the onion soup cozy, and I still recall my husband's joy dining on the rack of lamb. Our friends dined on the meatloaf and veal cutlets, and I had... I eat here every time I visit my family, and it's consistently excellent. Same personable and competent waitstaff has been there for years. The Endive, Watercress Salad w/ walnuts and blue cheese is one of the best salads I've ever eaten--I get it every time. It never ceases to meet my now high expectations. The food is always delicious. Who... More

Very good food. Veal chops, meatloaf, rack of lamb are specialties. Service was good and the meal was well served. The owner is the chef and keeps a watchful eye on everything from his perch in the open kitchen. A rather small restaurant so reservations are a must.

Le Petit Rouge is a small French Restaurant. If for no other reason, I give it 5 stars for their Onion Soup. It has to be one of the best versions I have ever tasted! Reservations are a good idea for Friday /Saturday night. I have been there several times, and each time, the food and service has been excellent.... More

This is a very nice local French restaurant, it's small so try to make a resv. in advance. The chef/owner, Neil , is a fabulous chef and has trained the service staff excellently. It has a nice cozy atmosphere and has a couple of outdoor tables. Try it !

I have found that French is usually very good or poor. Petit Rouge is one of the best restaurant I have I have eaten at. Not fancy (Country French) but high quality and authentic. From the crusty bread, snails in Garlic Butter, cheese tart, Calf's Liver and Steak Tartar the food was great. Will go again even though its an... More

Finally a restaurant that serves classic French food, unapologetically. Confit de Canard with potatoes in duck fat! One of the the best of the best classic dishes. Puff pastry, sweetbreads, French Onion soup that's unparalleled in Miami. Don't go there and complain. There are too many disappointing French bistros in Miami and Bal Harbour (you know who you are) that... More
