After seeing other reviews we decided to stop for a late lunch after a beach trip. We shared chicken and steak fajitas and our daughter had enchiladas. Both were served quickly and cooked to perfection. We sat inside where you can add your own signed dollar to the walls. The service was good. We would definitely stop here again.

We asked if the Cantina's patio was pet friendly and they were most accommodating. Wide array of choices in the menu - tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, quesadillas - all the usual suspects. The chicken fajitas were wonderful - not overly spiced but tasty, well cooked, served hot and there was plenty of it. The cheese enchiladas were terrific as well. Both... More

Stumbled in (still in wet swimsuits!) and loved eating outside with sand between our toes and reggae playing. The salsa was delicious. We went back the next day to buy some more! Also thought the fajitas we're good and service was fast. Loved the hole-in-the-wall aspect with people's dollar bills tacked to the walls. We'll go back again! It was... More

We decided on Mexican Food one evening and took the drive out to Captiva. We weren't disappointed. Great salsa and chips. Had the shrimp enchiladas and they were great. Black beams and rice was very good, too.

Small spot with good food! Enjoyed our dinner very much and highly recommend this Captiva stop! Not much inside table wise so get there early and enjoy!

We went here on the recommendation of friends who visit Captiva often and always eat here. We were not disappointed. It does tend to get busy as people know about it but in our experience it is worth the wait. All of our food was great. The service was fast and efficient but not overly "warm" but that may have... We were basically turned away when they heard of our food allergies. Chef wouldn't even come out to discuss. We made it easy with an allergy card but they did want to deal with it. First time we ever had leave a restaurant because management didn't give a d@mn about food allergies. We will never go back even without our... More

This is not a review of the food, but of the restaurant's willingness to help customers with food sensitivities. When I called to ask if their tacos would be safe for my child with peanut allergy and Celiac disease (no wheat), they gave a fast, non-committal answer that they use a lot of seasonings there and couldn't guarantee anything, and... On the first lunch of our stay here in Captiva, we opted for Mexican food, and we are glad that we did. They were not too busy for lunch, and our whole group with little kiddos, was really taken care of by the staff. We had fajitas, tacos, and burritos; and more importantly cerveza and margaritas.
