We loved this place. Robert, our server , was a delight. He was knowledgeable, attentive and sincere. The lobster rolls were so tasty. From there we had the Bouillabaisse, which was full of fresh seafood and the flavor was spot on. The jerk grouper was terrific. The carrot cake was sweet but a nice finish to a lovely meal. Price... We had planned to eat here on Saturday night. I made an open table reservation and we were all set. A week before our reservation, Jason called me and regrettably informed me that they had made an error and couldn't accommodate us because of a conflict with a wedding. We were able to move our date and when we arrived... More

We have been to this restaurant many times over the past few years and enjoyed the experience but this time the food was awful . Much too salty and in my case a crab cake with a spice/salty sauce on top made it inedible. All the food for the six of us was very poor and dispite complaining nothing was... More

We have traveled all around and this was one of our top meals ever! Our server Robert was amazing and his recommendations were perfect. From the grouper to the snapper wrap and finishing with carrot cake and key lime pie, A+ all the way. Not to be missed.

My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary. The waitress was fantastic, however, the food was terrible. My $29.00 5 oz steak was tough and so salty, I couldn't eat it. The asparagus was overgrown and the mash potatoes had no flavor and were ice cold. My husband had a chicken dish. Chicken was tough and had no... More

Same cold choices every day. While the fresh fruit choices were good, the hot breakfast items did not have much to choose from and they were an additional charge.

Brought the family here for a late night meal (9pm seating). The decor has been updated to a simple, clean bride-friendly atmosphere and the menu has been updated to include your choice of smaller portions or full portions. Nice touch. We each had a different entree and each was very good. Pompano in a lemon caper sauce, diver scallops, and... More

We visited the Old Captiva House with a large group, and everyone loved the experience. Even though there were 28 of us, the food came out in a reasonable time. My shrimp was yummy, and everyone else enjoyed their dinner as well. Eric was funny and did a great job of serving us, as did the other servers. The atmosphere... More

We went to this restaurant and the food was very good, fine dinning and the sunset was beautiful. When I do go back for vacation again, I'll enjoy this restaurant because of the food, piano and sunset.

The restaurant is in a nice setting. The service was average as was the food. We were expecting more after reading several reviews....maybe we caught them on a bad night, or our expectations were just too high?
