I have never been disappointed at Old Captiva House. It is a bit pricey, but it's vacation! Food is fantastic, staff friendly and helpful. We'll just keep going back.

Fabulous food, great atmosphere, Chopin Vodka (hard to find even in the finest establishments). Food and service was outstanding! It was pricey but hey, we were celebrating our Anniversary in style. Next time you're in Captiva, don't miss this gem!

A lovely, special place to dine for special occasion. It was my birthday and so we chose Old Captiva House based on reviews. We had to move because of some pesky ants near a window, but no big deal as it had been raining daily. Our server, Robert was wonderful and even had the pianist play Happy Birthday as he... More

Stayed at 'Tween Waters....really enjoyed the resort. Continental breakfast was part of the stay, but I ordered a hot breakfast only once. The scrambled eggs were cooked to death and the breakfast potatos were slimey and almost inedible. Looked elsewhere for breakfast for the rest of my stay...

We had a lovely dinner here on 9/1 - service was top notch, as was the food. Started off with the blue crab soup, which was served in a warm bowl, and prepared table side. Also had the escargot, which came prepared in a puff pastry (delicious). Dinner was the filet (beautifully served medium rare) and the petite portion of... More

We love Tween Waters Inn and we love the Old Captiva House. The menu is traditional with a wonderful Chefs twist that expands the traditional to gourmet scrumptious and generous. My husband loves the cowboy steak and he is a real steak man!!!

Vacationing in Captiva from Miami, I was thoroughly impressed with the Old Captiva House. They were even accommodating to my small child. If you are luck enough to be seated in the from room (we were) then you can watch the beautiful sunset while dining. I would advise this restaurant again and again. Best meal we had on our trip!

Only go here (or any other place on the island) if someone else is paying. Every menu is the same on the island and the quality is sub-par. Service is touch and go. I don't get the hype. Your paying for location. Nothing more, nothing less. I want these restaurants to succeed because it adds value to our local economy,... More
