We love Tween Waters Inn and we love the Old Captiva House. The menu is traditional with a wonderful Chefs twist that expands the traditional to gourmet scrumptious and generous. My husband loves the cowboy steak and he is a real steak man!!!

Vacationing in Captiva from Miami, I was thoroughly impressed with the Old Captiva House. They were even accommodating to my small child. If you are luck enough to be seated in the from room (we were) then you can watch the beautiful sunset while dining. I would advise this restaurant again and again. Best meal we had on our trip!

Only go here (or any other place on the island) if someone else is paying. Every menu is the same on the island and the quality is sub-par. Service is touch and go. I don't get the hype. Your paying for location. Nothing more, nothing less. I want these restaurants to succeed because it adds value to our local economy,... More

Had dinner at this place based on a recommendation from a friend & boy was he right! The pompano was delicious & cooked perfectly! My husband had the black grouper & said it was the best he'd ever eaten..which says a lot! The salads were both fresh and dressings were delicious. The meal was so good we decided to have... More

The food is excellent as is the presentation and the service. The Seafood is the best. The prices reflect the location and the professionalism of the chef and staff, well worth it as the food is delicious.

We recently paid a visit to the Old Captiva House at Tween Waters Inn for a late dinner. We were promptly seated and had our choice of seats since it was late when we arrived. Our server was friendly, but was a little slow at times. However, the main issue we had that night was not about the food or... More

My wife and I stayed at tween waters for 1 week. We ate breakfast every morning at Old Captiva House and had fantastic breakfast every single morning. From the Host Dan to the serving staff, just great. Big thanks for making it such a special week.

I was happy to find all the praise for this restaurant is well deserved. The menu's focus is on seafood so we ordered four different versions of some of the local catch. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. We saved room for dessert and if I had to pick a favorite I would say go with the carrot... More

Captiva is quite limited in quality dining choices, and this is one of the best we tried there, so it makes sense is rated #1 at tripadvisor. It is a bit upscale, but the price is fair for the dinning experience. We had prime rib, lobster bisque, lobster ravioli, all very good. The steak tartare wasn't as good. Service was... More
