i used to rate stuffed halibut in Anchorage my most favorite--the coconut macadamia nut encrusted red snapper was fabulous!!! So juicy, sweet amazing! Will make a 2nd visit in our week here at Captiva. Great service too. Felt so special.

I had a really well cooked meal here. The fish was fresh and served in a well sized but not excessive portion; the only criticism I had of it was a somewhat odd choice of side vegetables - spiced red cabbage felt odd with Florida fish. The house salad was good and the choice of wine also good. My server... More

Six of us had a lovely dinner with something for everyone! The pork chop was wonderful, with a fantastic spice to it. The grouper special was really good. The paella was great. Lovely setting, great food, good service. I think it might be the best food and value on Captiva Island.

We spent the day on the beach and did not want to drive far. We had dinner here based on the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff was great. Our waitress was even helpful in telling us the best shelling spot!

Had dinner next door at Captiva Cantina (big mistake!!!) and came here for my 50th birthday dessert. Oh holy night! The carrot cake is to die for! Will definitely go back for dinner!

Let me start by saying this place is one fine establishment. We had the scallop and goat cheese appetizer which were to die for. We also had the paella, which it was one of the best dishes i have ever tried. Oh and let me finish by saying the BEST key lime EVER!!! A must try!!

Had dinner on our first night on Captiva here & it was recommended by the hotel receptionist, but fell quite short of our expectations as the food was pretty awful. We had 6 different dishes all of which were disappointing, mostly on account of everything being drowned in various sauces, which did little to enhance the flavours & much to... More

This place is an island must, let's just start by saying the staff is truly what makes a place with great food go over the top but we will get to that! The wood-fire grill brings all the flavors and sauces to life! I had the scallops and goat cheese appetizer with basil pesto to start and each scallop was... More

Our server was very attentive and the wood fire scallops were the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the establishment, not to miss!
