Family dinner, 2 adults & 2 children (5-11). The grilled fishes were good and fresh. A bit overpriced. Not outstanding but serious. Friendly staff & nice cooled terrace.

My wife and I were invited by a real charming, young realtor, Robin @ ReMax of the Islands, to join her for supper at the Sunshine Seafood Cafe & Wine Bar, in Captiva. We started with a "jumbo" shrimp appetizer with a light BBQ sauce, which was nicley prepared, and very obviously fres. The entrees were a "special" feature of... More

We had the sea scallops with goat cheese to start and snapper picatta as an entree. Food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient! I would highly recommend Sunshine seafood!

We eat dinner at Sunshine Seafood every year to celebrate Fathers Day. What a treat!!!! All of the fish dishes are amazing! This year I tried the pork chop dinner which was equally as good. Wine list is great and Robin is an excellent waitress!! Can't wait to go back next year!!!

We almost missed this place. Hadn't heard much about it. We brought our 3 young kids there the last night of our spring break. Sat outside on a nice night. The food was excellent. Best swordfish I've ever had. The service was great too. Plan to hit this spot again in the future.

The food was amazing but more expensive then we thought...in the range of $45/50 per person. Anyways I don't have problem paying when the food is great. And this is the case here at Sunshine Seafood Cafe. All the choices were great. It's highly recommended. Cheers

For Captiva this restaurant is great --- creative specials, and wood fired meats. The cabbage vegetable side is unique and addictive. Wine selection is OK. A very nice break from the standards on the island.

We have been visiting Sanibel-Captiva for over 10 years now and did not come across this place until our last visit. While it is expensive for dinner, we had an excellent meal. It is a small place with mostly outside seating, but there are plenty of fans/misters in place and it was delightful to sit outside on their covered porch.... More

Ordered the goat cheese salad which was nice (not outstanding), 2 kids had mac and cheese and hubby had pasta special. Had the shrimp cocktail which was just "eh". Walked away spending over $75.
