Worth it

Enjoyed dinner. View was nice, service great, food tasty and fresh. They forgot to put on the music or had turned it off and unfortunately we could hear everything from the kitchen. Would have like to have that diffused a bit more.

We eat here each time we visit South Seas (as an aside if you stay at SS ask for Beach Villa 2531 ... incredible views and amenities ). This time food was disappointing. It was under seasoned. Service was very nice. We'll give them another try next time we visit

We recently ate here on a trip to Captiva. All guests were adults and we all loved the food. I had the special and it was amazing. You can tell they love seafood and they love to explore interesting and yummy flavor combinations. I definite must on the island!

This used to be a great little place with terrific gumbo. Now it is pretentious and disappointing. The gumbo has no flavor and the food is overdone and gimmicky. Very poor service. Never had any ambiance, but no there is no reason to go.

We finally tried Sunshine Saturday the 13th and were delighted we did! Our server Robin was wonderful. I had the special macadamia crusted cobia that came with yummy potatoes and veggies and my husband had the scampi with shrimp and scallops. Both meals were excellent as were our decadent desserts and coffee. Can't wait to go back!

I ate their cobia( fish)plate the night we dined there. The meal was good but nothing I'd run back to eat again. Fish was a little overcooked. Prices are high so I expected a little better result.

I was a little skeptical when we first walked in because there was only one other couple in the restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated. The server was friendly and very accommodating to the kids. We started with the mussels, which were fantastic. I then had a bowl of the Gumbo ( delicious) and my husband had the special... More

Visited here after reading the reviews. My husband and I split the salad with goat cheese . It was good but I would have preferred the goat cheese being breaded and fried for more flavor. We split the paella and it was fabulous! Definitely worth the visit.

We ate on their cute little patio one evening and enjoyed all the twinkle lights. I was disappointed that they only served wine and beer, but the food was good. I had a shrimp pasta and I would definitely eat here again!

Had the tuna, signature dish, lamb, & fresh catch. The best lamb we've eaten, great tuna. The fresh catch was so so until I sent it back to be cooked over the wood fire. Then it was great. They even reloaded my vegetables & rice. Skip the brownie dessert.
