Good food at an unbeatable location

We loved the garden salad and my spouse like the fish he ordered. Drinks were very good. Service was excellent. The only complaint we had was the key lime pie was frozen. The waitress said it was meant to be served this way... The restaurant is situated on a particularly beautiful part of Captiva... read more

Very nice place, quaint, staff was friendly, food was good, moderately priced for the beach. Quick service, food was hot, portion size was good. Very busy place. Had a small bar inside as well as a bar outside. Lots of tables to enjoy your food outside with live music or just sit in a chair and enjoy the view of... More

The fact that this place is called an English pub is frankly an insult. The location and the waitress serving us were a delight. But to be brutally honest the food was revolting. In a restaurant that is on the water you would expect the seafood to be fresh out of the ocean. Now maybe my expectations were high but... More

This 'Pub' is on the beach and had a live jazz singer when we visited outside. This had a very good vibe. Selling cocktails and beers from an outside bar. The food in the restaurant was excellent, only a short wait for a table. wait staff were very pleasant. An excellent place to watch the sunset.

We've been going to the Mucky Duck for years and have recommended it, but since the new owners have taken over it has gone down hill in my opinion. They do not have anyone helping in the parking lot, they would not serve their "Duck Fingers with raspberry sauce" on the beach anymore. The wait staff was surly, and when... More

We got here just in time for sunset on the beach. Parking is limited and the place was packed. The food is decent, but the service is unfriendly - at least with this large weekend crowd - or maybe because it's only one of a very few restaurants on the island. This place really needs to expand their bar area... More

We were one of the few lucky patrons to dine at the small bar located inside. One of the owners was helping bartend and call out orders to the kitchen, was fascinating and enjoyable, especially with a few unique draft beers. This is not a fancy place, you can even eat out on the sandy beach in front of the... More

We ate lunch at Mucky Duck. We had a short wait, but the atmosphere and food were worth it. Their signature dish, Bar-b-que Shrimp were delicious as were the fish and chips. Would definitely go back....

My husband and I had lunch here. We have also been 3 years ago and came back. The food was good. The blueberry sour cream pie is delicious. A must try. The staff was friendly. Parking can be difficult. The beach area is very nice.

The meals at the Mucky Duck are always fresh and well prepared. Wait staff are super friendly and attentive. Even if you dine on the sand outside the bar fare and ambience are great!
