A Blustery Cold Wait Outside But Worth It!

From the beachfront Location to the food and drinks, this restaurant has it all. Great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a nice meal. They have a great waiting area, beachfront, say no more, you're missing a great opportunity if you miss the Mucky Duck.

Reminded me a bit like Key West where all gathers in one place to watch the sunset, cocktails galore, live music and sand in your toes. While we didn't venture inside, the outside area was just fine. Picnic tables, chairs in the sand, live music and cold beer, wine and beach drinks. Everyone is friendly there, we all have a... More

Everyone told us that you have to go to mucky duck on captiva island to see the sunset. So I was expecting a throng of people and mediocre food......their was a guitar player out on patio and outside bar ( beer and a couple of beach drinks) but the food was surprisingly good....a pleasant surprise

We had a great experience at Mucky Duck, Captiva Island, Fl. The service was great and the view was outstanding. We had to wait about 15 minutes which wasn't bad since we had a group of 6. Our wait was seaside, on chairs in the sand. Fish sandwich was great as was the spinach salad. Definitely will return!

The business is very well know. The people handle the crowds. There was a problem with parking, so we just went back to the center of town to park and walked back. The food was great, the prices were reasonable. The outside entertainers were always good. They need more bartenders out side. The long line waiting was ok,however, because people... More

This famous restaurant is a must to stop in. The sunsets from their beach is a huge draw. Food was fantastic. We got a table by the window to watch the sunset.

Funky, funny, cheerful, welcoming, a bit raffish, this place makes a wonderful late-lunch stop after you've checked out Blind Pass. It's got silly tropical drinks, yummy fish and chips, great sandwiches, and very cheerful service.

Friends said we had to hit The Mucky Duck when on Sanibel, so we did for lunch. Funky as expected, as well as packed and loud. We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated, partly due to their getting the name wrong when we checked in. They did seat us immediately when we questioned the delay. The fish and... More
