Good place to watch the sunset.... as long as your favorite beverage is only beer or wine. They do not have a liquor license and the cocktails are made from strong wines. Pleasant staff.

You need to visit for the sunset if nothing else. Really not our choice for a meal, but a snack and a cold beer are perfect in the afternoon. Parking can be tough, but most people know that.

When my family first visited Captiva when I was a teen, friends had told us to seek out the Mucky Duck. I could tell my parents were a little uncertain as we appraoched this pub on the beach type place - but it didn't take long to change their minds. We watched a truly spectacular sunset with our feet in... More

The Ambience, The Quality and Quantity of the meals, The View ALL blend in to make a "Must Stop" for either lunch or dinner when visiting Captiva! At the end of Andy Rosse Lane, passing Art Galleries, Bed & Breakfast rest stops & other restaurants, you are greeted and served a terrific meal flawlessly! This is a special stop on... More

Enjoyed the food...the Oysters Rockerfeller were an excellent appetizer. I had the Grouper "Cafe de Paris" and my wife had the Pork Chop...both were good, but surprisingly, I liked the pork chop better than the fish. Nice view of the sunset at dinner.....I think the only negative was that in the indoor part of the restaraunt, the tables were very... More

We went here for dinner on our last night on the island. We were looking for someplace with seafood and a sunset beach view. When we drove up we were concerned because it looked like a beach bar. We decided to check it out anyway. What a great decision! The food was way better than bar food and the staff... More

This is the place you want to go to see the sunsets. It's right on the beach. The food is good, especially the clam chowder.

Quality varied some among our three dishes. Overall good. Scallop au gratin swimming in sauce and cheese. If you enjoy scallops try something else. Other dishes order were very good.

We have been here several times...SO busy during season & so little parking...so go at an off time. A group of 5 of us + one pooch drove from Cape Coral which was a nice drive...Sat. 2pm arrival...NOT at all busy during the Summer...GORGEOUS view right off the beach...sea grasses swaying in the ocean breeze. We went inside to order... More

We have visited the Mucky Duck many times over 30 years. The location is prime, right on Captiva beach with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. This year 4 of us went for dinner and while the view was still beautiful, the food was mediocre at best. The Mahi Mahi was dry and cold, the seafood platter was... More
