Very good basic tourist restaurant on beach. Food is good, but not fantastic. Great location. Would recommend

This bar and restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating but food is only served indoors. You can sit at the picnic tables and enjoy coronas for $4.75 . We were here Christmas Eve and they had live entertainment starting at 4 pm. Great spot to view a gulf coast sunset. The restaurant does take reservations.

Lucky for us The Mucky Duck was the only choice we found for lunch while walking on the public beach on Captiva. Delicious seafood themed lunches with generous portions. Wait staff treated us with a smile and warmth. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the snapper over greens special. Others loved the large crab cakes. We were so happy... More

The food is great, both lunch and dinner, and the furnishing unique. The wait staff is quite experienced and efficient. Mucky Duck is much more than the Sunsets, which are awesome!

Our family tradition is taking sunset shot in front of Mucky Duck Christmas tree. We have been doing this for 25+ years. Always the week of Thanksgiving, our vacation would not be complete if we missed it. Great food ,great service and be sure to ask for a window seat.

No better place to see the sun set than the Mucky Duck. We had a beer while watching the sun set and then headed inside for dinner. It was a Friday night and the place was hopping. Our dinners were very good as was the service.

I want to love the Mucky Duck - I have great memories of it from the 80's but it just isn't the same - and certainly not better. The food is average to good. The service was friendly. The restaurant is very noisy and kids definitely rule here. Although my kids are grown, I do not have any issue with... More

An Irish Pub right on the Gulf Beach. Great food, beer wine and view and experience. You can eat inside or out - either way it is a very fun experience. If you come by boat you can even pull the boat up on shore and come on in. Enjoy

Drove to Captiva and decided to check out the oldest restaurant on the island....cause we just felt we should. Well, we fell into the tourist trap. Yeah, it has outdoor seating and it's on the beach, but hey, it's Florida!! The dining room is dark and nothing inviting. Lots of signage warning you to "Chill out"...blah, blah, blah. The breaker...
