It has been a while since I last went to the Bubble Room, I probably won't be back unless it was for a take out dessert. My grouper portion was small. My wife had pasta which was just so so. Our witress, and some of the other staff seemed more interested in socializing with each other than waiting tables. Oh... more

Every summer my family makes the trip to Captiva, and every summer, the kids have insisted on the Bubble Room. Typically, my wife and I put up with the rusty antiques, but on our last trip, we were overwhelmed by the dusty junk. We went early in the week for desserts, only to feel like we were inconveniencing our server.... more

Food used to be very good. Over time, quality suffers and prices go up. Try Key Lime Bistro or Mucky Duck instead. more

To really enjoy this restaurant, you need to go in a group, either as a family or with a bunch of friends. For a couple, the food is not good enough, and the ambiance is probably not appropriate...unless you have a strong personal interest in kitch, antique advertising and similar whimsical memorabilia from Hollywood and Christmas past. Fortunately for us,... more

Look promising from the parking lot...downhill from there. In our opinion, the restaurant looks cramped, dated and dusty - they have hundreds of nick nack, pictures and "STUFF" everywhere you turn - most of it looks like it needs a good cleaning. The tables were small and the room they sat us in had too many tables - it felt... more

One of the most unique restaurants you'll probably ever step foot in. Food was great, large portions! A little pricey, and everything is a la carte!! more

The Bubble Room closes for a little while between lunch and dinner. I stopped by with some friends to get a few pieces of cake to go, shortly after the lunch shift. The door was unlocked so we walked in. We waited at the counter for awhile and no one came around. I could hear people in the other room... more

The Bubble Room is about desserts, desserts, desserts. Although there;s much on the menu to like, often the quantity of food gets in the way of having enough room for the HUGE desserts. Our group all ordered the Tiny Bubble. That's a salad, bubble bread, sticky bun, your choice of app, and your choice of dessert. We all got our... more

We started going to the Bubble Room because it looked fun and interesting -- and we keep going back for the food! It is our family's favorite restaurant on Captiva! The Bubble bread is delicious, the prime rib outstanding, and the desserts--save room, lots of room! The rum cake and the orange cake are my favs! more

We liked the Bubble Room. I was hoping for a romantic evening out. So, we dressed up. That is not the atmosphere at the Bubble Room. We still enojoyed ourselves. The food was incredible good. The portions were huge and the number of side dishes that came with my entree was overwhelming. We ate lefterovers for two days. The place... more
