Very Unique

We literally ate in a phone booth. This is a restaurant like no other and should be on everyone's list of places to eat. Bubble bread is best sweet roll I have ever tried. Chicken was amazing. Cake is to die for. We had the orange crunch which is the house favourite but all looked good. We... read more

Very disappointed in our visit tonight. Waitress very inattentive. Waited forever for food. Never had a chance to sample the famous bubble bread or sticky buns because they never brought any! Waste of our precious vacation time.

We were a party of 5 for a late New Year's Eve dinner. The restaurant is so much fun to walk around and look at call the pictures and memorabilia! My husband made me take pictures of toys he hadn't seen in 45 years. The food was good but the sweet buns and desserts were the best. Make a reservation... More

This restaurant is a must in Captiva! Every room has a different theme. The walls are decorated with memorabilia from the 30's, 40's, 50's, etc. It's incredibly unique. Try the "White Christmas" cake!

A group of eight of us enjoyed a wonderful varied meals supported by a very cordial and punctual serving staff. I enjoyed the Prime Rib Weissmuller Jane cut of prime rib which had excellent seasoning resulting in a great meal. My wife enjoyed Follow the Fleet shrimp and scallops served in an enticed butter compilation which enhanced the seafood. Both... More

Wow, stopped in for dessert (cake). Each piece was huge! Got chocolate with cream filling and yellow cake with coconut frosting. I am a chocolate lover but have to say I think I liked the coconut better!. however just to see the decor inside makes this a must stop when on the island.

We had not been to the Bubble Room for some years. Traveling from Bonita Springs to Clearwater we decided to go out of our way to go to the Bubble Room. Traffic was bumper to bumper from the causeway bridge and we did 5 MPH at the best. We had a 30 minute wait for lunch at 1:30 PM. The... More

Heard so many wonderful things about "The Bubble Room"' I have seen many pictures of "The Bubble Room". So when I knew I would be visiting Captiva, I made reservations (which is a must). Was not disappointed, such a fun place! The food was excellent starting with the bubble bread, sticky buns and ending with the red velvet cake. The... More

We have been going to Sanibel for almost 10 years, and this is by far our favorite visit while on the island. I couldn't believe how many negative reviews it got. Let me start with the negatives: you will have to wait for a very long time no matter when you go, but there is a beach nearby with an... More

Heard about the Bubble Room for years and finally able to visit. Pina colada hit the spot, pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw was ordinary; but it was the desserts -- they are gigantic and tasty. Fun decor, covering the walls and tables, brought back childhood memories for wonderful dinner conversation.
