Tween's best place for food

The grouper sandwich "blackened" is the only way to go but the food is the same quality as the Captiva House (they share the cheif and kitchen). I would eat and drink here again for sure

Ordered salmon and sent it back because it was not fresh - texture and color indicated it was frozen. Also ordered a pizza and the crust was not done - thick and tasteless - again probably a frozen and processed crust. Based on the prices - there menu items should be fresh. Don't waste your money here.

We went on a Thursday night for the advertised hermit crab races for families at 6pm. I called the day before to ask if we could order pizzas and appetizers to share for the table. The answer was yes. I was also told the hermit crab race was appropriate for a 5 and 3 year old. We arrived at 525... More

Four of us ate here on our first night at Tween Waters Inn (an excellent hotel), and disappointment doesn't begin to describe the "quality" of the food served here. Our adult daughter ordered their pizza, and we've gotten better pizza from a grocery store freezer and prepared in our own oven. The fish and the shrimp were, well, decent, but... More

It really bugs me when a restaurant lists a menu item of "fresh Gulf shrimp" and you get the farm raised cellophane textured crap. That's my gripe. If the menu says something specific, don't believe it. Ask.

I think the Crow's Bar is a great place to eat in Captiva. It is not fine dining and to me that is okay. What is good about this restaurant is that it isn't frou-frou. It is a laid back establishment that serves good, simple food in a great atmosphere. I ate here twice on my vacation. We loved the... More

Convenient to go to from Tween Waters room. Friendly staff and delicious food! I had the teriyaki salmon with coconut rice two times it was so good.

Stopped in for a couple drinks to get out of the sun before dinner - good happy hour specials and Casey the bartender is a doll!

Just a quick note - We had a quick five night trip on Captiva. Every day at least once we stopped in the Crow's Nest for a cocktail. The main reason we went every day was the bartenders, they were all really great at there jobs, but a special shout out to Kasey and Matt. Great personalities always engaging with... More

A cozy bar filled with tourists in season and locals in the off. Great burgers - try the Tweenie Sliders. Delicious. They also serve a locally-made ice cream called QUEENIE'S. Out of this world!! Tables for larger groups. Music some evenings. We've been many times and always enjoy ourselves.
