Mediocre pizza

Pizza was mediocre at best. Could not eat in restaurant due to extreme heat. Not too clean either. Staff was pleasant.

We ordered pizza and salads from here on out first night. The salads were good and the pizza was average, it was quick and easy.

I read some of the reviews, disagree. It may not be as good as your favorite place, but it is still a great pizza. Plenty of cheese, good choices of extras. A great escape from the regular diet of seafood and dogs.

Afraid the other reviewers were correct. Craving pizza on Captiva--hit the frozen food section of the grocery. Picked up a thin-crust with pepperoni, black olives, and mushrooms. Smelled delicious, but mediocre at best.. Really greasy cheese indicates low quality. Won't do that again.

This is apparently the only pizza place on the island. Everything is store bought and assembled, so it's okay when you are just too tired to go anywhere or cook anything yourself, but not great.

Watery. Tasteless. We tried them several years ago and never went back. House guests brought home a Captiva Pizza and, 5 years later, the pizza was still inedible. It's a cute little gift shop and they're able to dispense yogurt without incident. So, buy a gift. Get some yogurt, but invest in a frozen pizza. It will be 10x better.

Please believe me when I tell you that you would be better off buying a frozen pizza. The crust tasted like it had been mass produced instead of handmade, the marinara was spineless, and the cheese was bland. The staff was borderline incompetent when placing my order over the phone. Captiva desperately needs a decent pizza place! Stay away from... More

Well, this proves that when you're the only pizza restaurant in town, you can serve really bad pizza and still survive. My family ordered 2 large cheese pizzas and it was edible, but just barely. The pizza had a strange, moldy taste to it and we couldn't determine if that was coming from the cheese or the sauce, but it... More

They shouldn't be allowed to call what they serve/deliver "pizza". Edible, but barely. Ditzy staff. Almost an after thought. Can't figure out how this place stays in business. Perhaps enough first timer visitors to the island to keep it going. My advice? Keep on going.
