Early Saturday afternoon lunch, not many customers yet. In the evening this place packs them in. My friend had the fried fish platter with fries. I had the fish sandwich. Both entrees were good though my roll fell about while eating. Service was great and friendly. Check out the large tiki bar out back and the fresh fish store inside.... More

We ate here as part of a group recently. The staff was great, and the atmosphere had very much a 'local' flavor. The fish was cooked pretty well, slightly overcooked but not enough to be sent back to the kitchen. The only thing I would change is the fried Zuccini Sticks, they were soggy and not very good. I will... More

Went for dinner on a Friday evening. 2 appetizers, calamari which was lightly dusted and very good, shrimp cocktail which was over cooked, not cold and mushy. Hubby had scamp which is black grouper and said it was the best fish he ever had. I had the rock shrimp, although flavorful, they were also over cooked and somewhat mushy, I... More

Fresh catch of mangrove snapper, excellent, so where all the sides. Oysters where on the small side, but fresh. Over all the food was excellent. Place needs tidied up. Their best wine(Kona) was not good, way over priced, our waiter said it was 11.00 a glass, when we got our bill it was 12.75 a glass, was charged for a... More

We have been going to Captain Eddies since they open. We love the fish - oysters- plus the great service. I wished we went inside since every thing was torn up outside. Actually it was awful looking at the dirty old floor. They should of closed it off!

Enjoyed a nice walk on the pier before they called to say our table was ready. Wonderful place to eat and quiet despite the large crowds. Seafood dinner was awesome and the portion was large. Great selection of wines.

We are from the East coast and my wife grew up on Maryland crab ales in the Chesapeake area. So she order the Maryland crab cake. She said it was the worst she had ever had and I agreed. It looked like a hockey puck and tasted no better. I had the salmon and was flavorless and boring.

Unplanned trip to Captain Eddies on a Saturday afternoon. Seafood was very tasty and fresh. 1 order of fried clam strips, nice portion and fresh. 1 order of fish sandwich served with lettuce and tomato and sauce that was very good. Fries came with both, they were cooked to perfection, seasoned well and hot. Nice décor like a NJ shore... More

Have tried this place twice thinking the first time was just an off night. Second time we took guests and no one could finish their food. The hog fish (house specialty) was full of bones, that just ruins the experience. The others got scallops, shrimp and grouper cheeks. The scallops and shrimp looked and tasted like they were cooked yesterday... More
