Only place in the area that has fresh stone crabs and florida lobster tails. I have not eaten there but always buy my fresh florida seafood there and it is wonderful and priced well.

My wife and I tried this restaurant last evening and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and quanity of our food. I had Sam's seafood platter and my wife had the Maryland crab cakes. Their homemade sauce was delicious. The service was very good, with the waiter explaining fully their specials. After asking about the Hogfish, he explained the taste... More

Wow. Five star service with top quality seafood in a relaxed sea shanty tiki bar. The side dishes are terrific especially the beets and fried okra. I tried the stuffed hogfish - incredible pile of perfect fish over a tasty crab cake with lobster bisque poured over the whole thing. Wow. Highly recommended.

We went because I house we're staying in had menus of Eddies all over. So casual, tiki ambiance and it makes you want to try something new! I had alligator bites and my husband had hogfish! Best part was the key lime pie! There's magic in it I swear!

I've been here a few times but never commented. It's a nice restaurant right on 41 in Nokomis. The food was good as always. Good place for families and larger parties. Nice tiki bar out back where is a little quieter. I'll keep coming back for sure.

Right by the US41 when leaving Venice (but not noisy at the rear), this eatery is just the right place to be seated outdoors for lunch at this time of year. A wide selection of seafoods, including varieties of crabs. I had the special of the day (pair of sauted soft crabs at $18 whilst companion enjoyed a more reasonably... More

Came here many years ago and it's still consistent. Casual atmosphere and great fresh choices. It's been here for many years and it's always been great.

We had soft shell crabs, lobster rolls, stuffed hogfish, blackened grouper, gumbo, and our favorite crab and shrimp egg rolls. Everything was fresh, well prepared, good portion sizes and very friendly service. We will go back and we all highly recommend the crab and shrimp egg rolls!

Code violations everywhere. they don't rotate there food they just mix the old with the new. silver where is dirty and plates to. Go in the walk in and look up you'll see a giant hole in the ceiling. It's unkempt and the staff is trained to rip you off. I would normally say live and let live but this... More

We ate here 3 of the 4 days we were in town. My husband loved the fresh catch choices and I had delicious shrimp. We stayed nearby at the Hampton Inn and it was a pleasant walk from the hotel. Also easily accessed by the Waterways bicycle trail.
