This cozy little restaurant is easy to pass by but don't be fooled by the outside. We went for Indian food but the menu actually has Indonesian fare. I had a curry grouper cheeks which was good. I chose to have it mild and it was not spicy. My husband must have told me a dozen times how much he... More

I went there with my grandfather who is in a wheelchair and they had 1 table occupied and told us we couldn't get in because they were full. The lady was rude and did not even apologize for the inconvenience. If you are so busy during season, you should recommend reservations on your website...and not have empty tables when you... More

Our first time here, based on someone's recommendation. Wouldn't have expected such wonderful food otherwise. Excellent chef. Fabulous cioppino (clams, scallops, shrimp, grouper and calamari steamed in a tomato and garlic wine broth). Seafood curry with lemon grass, kiefer lime and coconut milk with added shrimp was sweet and mild, but with a delightful curry flavor. They were featuring Einstok... More

Small cafe type place, food is different, sort of Mid Eastern American, interesting flavors. Servings are small, so order accordingly. Selections I've never seen elsewhere. Very tasty. Totally lacking in atmosphere, almost Amish. The male owner/cook comes across rather gruff. So, would I return, probably not, but then again its been open for several years, so what do I know,... Today I stopped by noticing a for sale sign out front! I was dismayed. The property owner is trying to sell everything. They have at least 2 years left. Today I had the Egg Plant (3 chillies ) very very good! chose grouper cheeks++ . My wife had the Fried Tilapia ! Outstanding. The fish was fresh and tasted great.... More

We had two great curries with quick, attentive service and ample servings. Get a reservation: this place is small and fills up quickly!

We were looking for something spicy like Indian and my friends suggested this Indonesian restaurant. I had Beef Rendang and was as good or better than what had in Bali. Nice little place , easy to get to. Great service and atmosphere. My friends had American food and said it was great. I can't wait to Come back. Just can't... More

Lived in Venice for many years but never have had the chance to stop by the Curry Creek Cafe. Very fresh, very creative menu, talented chef. We plan to hit it again for lunch and dinner.

A must go if in area! Just south of intersection Colonia and Hwy 41 in Nokomis, Fl easy to miss so look for it. Great food...everything is good, but we loved the grouper curry. Went back 3 times just for that. Friendly husband-wife chef/owner. Make reservations on weekends because they book up.
