there are many choices on the menu which include pasta, fish, and meat. the food was prepared well and served very hot. the bread was very hard and maybe was old and tried to be used again. the salad is good with lots of fresh ingredients . the service is always great.

Last night I again had dinner at Mama Leone's> Caesar salad was over dressed and some of the lettuce edges was brown. nothing earth shattering, but not the usual small crispy Caesar they usually have. The angel hair and shrimp dinner was very good, could have used a little more garlic. The dessert, apple and carmell tart with fake whipped... More

Visited on a Saturday evening to hear Ron play piano. The food was great but atmosphere a little lacking. Not sure how they could change it but the rooms with the very high ceilings seem cold and impersonal. That said the food makes up for it. I had the angel hair with sausage, meatballs and peppers and I have to... More

Wow. What a disappointment. We tried it after reading the reviews. Anticipating good Italian. Very wrong. We ordered 3 meals. Veal - chicken Lemone and a simple order of spaghetti. The only meal that was eaten was the veal. And that was because my husband was very hungry. The soup and salad was good. But the main course didn't make... More

1. Food: Very good. Stuffed shells & manicotti are my favorites. Food is always "piping" hot. 2. Service: Very good to excellent. This visit in particular I'd rate as "excellent." 3. Atmosphere/ ambience: 3.5/5.0. 4. Overall rating: A solid 4.0/5.0. Will definitely return.

We came in for dinner here for the first time the other night, We were pleasantly surprised, The interior was very welcoming and classy. The bar area was spacious and a guitar player ,whom could have been Santana undercover ,was playing beautiful music, at just the write volume were it could be heard ,but not impede conversation. Our waitress was... More

We enjoy this restaurant every time we come to venice. Love eating on Linen table cloths with lovely piano music in the background. Very attentive service. Food is very delicious. I did get a filet mignon and they had trouble over cooking. Next time will just stick with their pasta, which is wonderful. Very reasonable prices.

I have eaten at Mama Leone's since they opened several years ago. My husband and I loved it even before they built the very classy building they now have . Chris and Anastasia are so very wonderful. The pasta marina sauce is my favorite anywhere ! The pizza is delicious ! The house salad dressing is better than anything you... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual visit to Mama Leone's in Nokomis. A few miles outside of Venice, it's well worth the short drive. The ambiance and decor here are incredible, the live background music truly suites and enhances the experience. The food and service were outstanding. My wife had the Shrimp Scampi and i had the Veal Parmesan. There is... More

We had been going to Leone's (Papa's) in Venice and they changed the lasagna, so we thought we would try Mama's. We loved the decor and atmosphere, but the food was mediocre. My husband ordered the lasagna and although he said it was good, he said it was not melt in your mouth heavenly good. I had spaghetti with meat... More
