Best Grouper sandwich

We have eaten here many times and our last trip down to Nokomis, we stopped in for dinner. The grouper was the freshest, most tender piece oh fish, grilled to perfection. Along with a garden salad that always tastes like they grew the veggies themself, dinner doesn't get any better, especially the... read more

Went for dinner at the Pelican. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Parking is very limited, and best to have reservations. The Fresh Fish dishes were excellent. The wait time was a little longer than expected, but after all it was the weekend, and our waitress was new, but really helpfull. Overall the experience was Very Very good.

We went there for my birthday. Got there and huge line....got table outside which was ok. Food took a very long time, thought they had to go fish for the fish/grouper. I then was told after 40 min waiting for the food there was a table of 20 people ordering guess one chef. Then comes the food. The grouper was... More

Pelican Alley has some delicious dishes ranging from BLakened fish to crab/lobster sauces. My children enjoyed their children and fries and my husband enjoyed the shrimp. Pelican Alley needs to be renovated but the food is quality.

We stopped for lunch with our 2 teenagers and had a very good time. I had a grilled Cajun Grouper sandwich very, very good. My wife had the crab cakes and enjoyed them very much. My son had a good fried Grouper sandwich and my daughter had fried shrimp. Our waitress was cheerful and knowledgeable which make the meal a... More

Went here because all the other places most other restaurant's had already closed. Got in at 9:30. They seated all 14 of us and never missed a beat. Our server was very pleasant and never seemed rushed. All the food was cooked to order and actually out rather quick for such a big party. I must say the baked stuffed... More

POPS, right around the corner from Pelican Alley, was our destination but when we got there and found it closed we decided to give PA a try. We were only 1 of 2 couples in there (the other couple had just walked over from a closed POPS as well). The service and food were excellent. I can't remember the name... More

We walked over the bridge from Nokomis Beach to discover this great, casual and welcoming restaurant. Love the interior, great water view! Seafood, piña coloda and key lime pie great! People & service great!

Great food on the inter coastal waterway!! The food was very good!! Very interesting interior decor, the view could have been better if the window didn't have this odd mesh inside of it….

Had a fantastic lunch here with a local: food was amazing, service was prompt and super friendly. Highly recommended...especially the various tacos.
