Having eaten here numerous times over the past few years, I was disappointed with the swordfish special. It was served with a great grapefruit sauce, but the fish itself was dry and tasteless. I returned it to the kitchen and asked for shrimp scampi, which is always excellent with really fresh shrimp and perfect blend of garlic and herbs. We... More

We walked to Pelican Alley from Island House on Casey Key. I had a grilled grouper sandwich and it was quite nice. We sat on the deck and had pelican visitors immediately, which was fun. The one complaint I have (which isn't necessarily in the control of the restaurant) is that the deck is almost under the bridge and people... More

Pelican Alley is just across the draw bridge from Casey Key, if you are staying in Casey Key near the draw bridge, it's an easy walk. The atmosphere is pretty basic, but the food is good.

Love sitting here under the bridge watching the pelicans and the boats go by. Had burger which was very good - also enjoyed crispy fish and chips. Service is good and price is reasonable but the best part is the location - beautiful.

Very relaxing atmosphere on the water and very good food. I ordered the crab fritters along with a Caesar salad/grilled chicken. Both were very good but the fritters were out of this world. I was expecting to see Bob the ghost but guess he had expired for the evening. Highly recommend.

Family of four - ate dinner for $40. For a seafood restaurant, near the beach...totally worth it! Kid-friendly.

We eat at Pelican Alley every time we travel to Venice, FLA. Pelican Alley is casual dining that is just off the beaten path. In other words, it's authentic, offers local color / character, and fresh seafood that my husband and I greatly enjoy. The wait staff is very welcoming, friendly and quick to take your order and bring drinks.... More

This was a nice place since it was right on the water and had a good amount of outdoor seating. It is very casual, the servers are super nice. Food was pretty good, nothing really out of this world though. It has so much potential but it is really run down. It could use a good cleaning and some routine... More

Loved the funky old Florida feel of this place. Watched fishermen catch some large fish as we ate. Seafood was fresh and well prepared. Went back on a Friday night for drinks and live music in the courtyard. They made sure everyone was having a fine time!
