Comfortable and consistent

We have eaten at Ophelia's on several occasions. Each time was a pleasant and relaxing meal. They have an outdoor seating area that is dog friendly. They even have a doggie menu. for just a couple of dollars you can get a dish of meat for your dog. They also have water bowls and doggie snacks... read more

We had a reservation as we visited the restaurant on St Patricks day as expected it to be busy. Although it was fairly full when we arrived we were ignored for a good ten minutes. At least three waitresses walked past up whilst we were waiting and said nothing to us. Finely one of the waitresses did say that the... More

Breakfast is always good as is dinner or lunch but.....they should stick to what they do good which is not the Corn Beef and Cabbage meal I got today. It was on special for $13 and got there early to beat the lunch crowd. I received a plate with a quarter head cabbage, wilted carrots and over fried potatoes. the... More

We are very sorry that you were disappointed in your meal. This is the first negative comment we received on the corned beef dinner. I cannot explain why yours was different than the other plates. We strive to maintain consistency in our platings and will take your criticism seriously. More

If you are in the Sarsaota, Venice, Nokomis Area of Florida this is the place to go for some great food and choices. From the salads to the pasta dishes the portions are large. I recommend the lobster ravioli..

My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday morning. We were quickly greeted and seated. Coffee arrived quickly, and the cup never got empty! We ordered basic breakfasts of meat, potatoes, eggs and toast. It arrived looking very appetizing, and it was as tasty as it looked. We'll return again.

We were enchanted by the name, and the cute outside lighted entrance so thought we would stop in for some Italian cuisine. The hostess was very friendly and after a short wait for customers grazing around the desk we were taken to a booth. On first thought, I felt like it was homey and comfortable so we settled in for... Our hotel (Laurel Villa Motel) recommended this place to us.... and we were not disappointed. Where else can you go for an under $8 breakfast, Italian atmosphere, seated at a most beautiful dark wood table, covered with linen and a diamond paper cutout, with cloth napkins, served complimentary bloody mary or mimosa.... a breakfast that is out of this world,...
