If you like more of a cajun, spicy seafood cuisine then this would be good for you. That seems to be the type of seafood they specialize in, if you dont like that then i would suggest going somewhere else.

I was surprised reading some of the reviews here because my wife and I went for lunch at the Dockside and we were especially pleased with everything including the service. I had the catfish plate and my wife had the shrimp plate. Both were cooked to perfection and I have to admit that the catfish was the best I ever... More

Fantastic views and spacious. Definitely not crowded even in high season. Unfortunately though typical "Sysco" restaurant, even the water has an offensive taste. I'd definitely not bother with the salad, not only is it primarily stalks but it was served to me several days after it should have.

The hubby and i decided to have dinner here tonight because we heard that the owner is a Louisiana native. Ok. So the scenery is really nice, relaxing and close to the water. Service was good. The cons, i ordered baked New orleans style oysters and they were little as heck and was $16 a dozen. I ordered the shrimp... More

My friend and I showed up just before 8pm on the 4th. We weren't expecting to get a seat on the deck because of the amazing fireworks views from this lovely little restaurant on the bayou. However, Chef Ernie greeted us at the door and assured us we'd be well taken care of at a nice inside table in the... More

Location not accurate on Trip Advisor. Closes at 9 instead of 11. Want more to say. If I had actually been able to get in I would.

This was a bad dinning experience from start to finish. I have been here before with mixed results but this time was really bad. I brought friends to show off one of the better places in Niceville and it was just embarrassing how bad this was tonight. To start with they were out of the first two items we asked... More

Visited this restaurant with a group of friends. Started the experience with an excellent waiter, Lance, followed by excellent food and beautiful view of the bay. Final delight was the wonderful band Shades of Blue playing all our favorite 70s music. The entire experience topped off a great vacation to the Santa Rosa Beach area. If you're in the Santa... Sorry Ernie, you need to go back to New Orleans and have a real New Orleans Roast Beef. Slow cook in a light gravy 12 hours or more, until the meat is so tender. Served with DILL chips, not the horrible pickles you serve. AND WHERE in New Orleans do they give you a cup of thick, heavy, brown gravy... More
