Fairly new business which is tucked (hidden) behind McDonald's, off of Highway 20 and Juniper Avenue, in Niceville, Florida. The chef/owner is Brian Cartenuto, a young chef who cooks very tasty, and well seasoned, food in a casual environment. He claims to cook and serve the BEST HAMBURGER IN TOWN, and my son who considers himself a burger connoisseur (and tastes burgers in EVERY town we visit) says it is THE BEST hamburger he has EVER eaten. And, it is HUGE. In fact, all of Brian's portions are very large. I can never finish my plate of food, and take some home every time. In addition to his menu, he offers Blue Plate Specials from Monday through Friday. His "Red Beans and Rice" on Monday are the BEST I've ever had. As Niceville, Fl has so few delicious, affordable and local restaurants, I am reallly wanting to place Tucker Duke's Lunchbox on the map. In fact, I plan to contact that show Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. :-)

We visited Tucker Duke's on a Friday evening. We sat inside the restaurant and it was slightly crowded when we arrived. The waitress came and took our drink orders. Since this was our first visit, we took our time perusing the menu. There were many options for burgers and sandwiches. My husband and I opted for a burger. I chose... More

The Tucker Duke hamburger comes to your table 6 inches high! Can eat it that way or remove the onion rings and attack the more manageable 1/2 pound burger topped with delectable Tucker Duke Seeecret sauce. Samantha is an amazing friendly, knowledgeable, efficient waitress! Dine in or out. If burgers aren't your choice choose other sandwiches or their blue-plate special... More

Went here for lunch, and planned accordingly for a larger group since they get very busy. I tried the tucker duke burger with tater tots on the side. Burger was huge, and the onion rings and sauce on it were outstanding. Very casual atmosphere, not someplace you would linger over your meal. Great spot to eat to break away from... More

This place is busy at lunchtime, so be prepared for a long wait for your lunch, even if you only order a burger. Service is friendly, but food could have been served hotter. The burgers are good, and certainly big.

A nice quaint place and very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Went for lunch with co-workers and had the Jose salad, which was fantastic!!

Small, quaint atmosphere service was good, food was exceptional! Portions are large and the blondie brownie dessert was to die for! If you are from the South steer clear of the banana pudding dessert no one at our table cared for it.

Go for the food...nothing else. The restaurant is a re-purposed gas station, the seating isn't too comfortable, but neither of these distract from what you came here for--food. The service was prompt and friendly. The weekly burger was a reuben-inspired burger with pastrami, it was pretty great. Also, their variants on mac&cheese are delicious.

Saw this on a fb post about 15 of the best restaurants in the Florida Panhandle so we had to try it out. A funky old gas station that you will miss if you are not looking for it. Once inside we discovered we lucked out as it was Tucker Tuesday and their regular $10 Tucker Hamburger is $5 if... More
