Fairly new business which is tucked (hidden) behind McDonald's, off of Highway 20 and Juniper Avenue, in Niceville, Florida. The chef/owner is Brian Cartenuto, a young chef who cooks very tasty, and well seasoned, food in a casual environment. He claims to cook and serve the BEST HAMBURGER IN TOWN, and my son who considers himself a burger connoisseur (and tastes burgers in EVERY town we visit) says it is THE BEST hamburger he has EVER eaten. And, it is HUGE. In fact, all of Brian's portions are very large. I can never finish my plate of food, and take some home every time. In addition to his menu, he offers Blue Plate Specials from Monday through Friday. His "Red Beans and Rice" on Monday are the BEST I've ever had. As Niceville, Fl has so few delicious, affordable and local restaurants, I am reallly wanting to place Tucker Duke's Lunchbox on the map. In fact, I plan to contact that show Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. :-)

Big burgers

Met with friends and kids. All the burgers were huge, juicy, and awesome. Kids were just as happy as the adults. Craft beers were good and waitress was so friendly helping me make up my mind. Definitely need a to go box!

I have been gong to Tucker Duke's for 4 years now and i love it! THe burgers are amazing and they source there meat from Ocala, and there seafood comes from across the bay at Willingham seafood. It is not a cheap burger joint, they are a bit pricey, but worth it, they also have beer and cocktails as an... More

To pricey and you could not tell that the chef ever went to culinary school. I could make better at home.

I went to see the new location to meet someone else who was enthusiastic about it. I didn't like the previous location at all. I ordered the jambalaya because their burgers are humongous and that's not what I wanted. The service was quick, friendly, professional, and efficient. The side items (mac and cheese, sweet potato fries) seem to only offer... More

My son recommended Tucker Duke's to us on our recent visit to Destin / Ft Walton Beach. We found -original recipes for dressings, sauces & sides -creative sides such as house-made cucumber salad, jalapeno mac & cheese & house-made chips -gluten-free options -portobello substitute on almost any hamburger -congenial server -beautiful bayside view -indoor & outdoor seating Recommended!

Went here after work to check out their new place, very nice digs. I rode my bike there so I was ready for a frosty beverage and ordered up a stout. Much to my surprise it came in a water glass. When I inquired about the way it was served I was told that the brew master wants it that... More

Now at North Light Marina in Niceville. Food is still good, burgers are great, brisket is really good too. Sides seemed to be needing a little attention. Service was fine, but one thing was a little odd. No salt or pepper, no condiments or extra napkins on tables, and none where brought with the food. If the brisket had not... More

This nice restaurant was closed recently because the city of Valparaiso would not issue them a liquor license. Not sure if owners are looking to open again nearby.

Wonderful burgers -- just relocated to a nicer location -- a tad pricey for a burger. Takes about 20 minutes to get food, so don't expect to order and eat quickly. Cooked to your specifications.

The service was super slow at the bar and bar eating area. But, they are still new at this location, so I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Instead of one of their YUMMY burgers, I tried a fish dish and it was like warm and not very flavorful. This place is known for their awesome... More
