Fairly new business which is tucked (hidden) behind McDonald's, off of Highway 20 and Juniper Avenue, in Niceville, Florida. The chef/owner is Brian Cartenuto, a young chef who cooks very tasty, and well seasoned, food in a casual environment. He claims to cook and serve the BEST HAMBURGER IN TOWN, and my son who considers himself a burger connoisseur (and tastes burgers in EVERY town we visit) says it is THE BEST hamburger he has EVER eaten. And, it is HUGE. In fact, all of Brian's portions are very large. I can never finish my plate of food, and take some home every time. In addition to his menu, he offers Blue Plate Specials from Monday through Friday. His "Red Beans and Rice" on Monday are the BEST I've ever had. As Niceville, Fl has so few delicious, affordable and local restaurants, I am reallly wanting to place Tucker Duke's Lunchbox on the map. In fact, I plan to contact that show Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. :-)

Great burgers!

I do not like hamburgers (or ground beef) much, but Tucker Dukes has a very tasty burger- and I'm plain with just veggies and ketchup... no cheese or bacon... and it's still full of flavor. My friends and family have tried some of their more "adventurous" burgers and never have any complaints. Very... read more

Sit by the water, enjoy a great craft beer and burgers. We had the blue plate special which was brisket that night and it was awesome. Tender moist and full of flavor!

Tucker Duke's recently took over one of the most beautiful waterfront spots in Niceville. The night we visited the weather was threatening rain so we requested to sit inside. Unfortunately, unless you sit in the bar or outside you won't see any of that nice view. Inside seating is very limited and the music and air conditioning were in excess,... More

My husband and I visited for a quick lunch after hearing rave reviews. I can say that everything I had heard did not fully prepare me for the meal I was about to have. The burger is a meal in itself. We tried the Mondragon is a monster but DELICIOUS! I had the Bash's Steak House burger and it was... More

I have been gong to Tucker Duke's for 4 years now and i love it! THe burgers are amazing and they source there meat from Ocala, and there seafood comes from across the bay at Willingham seafood. It is not a cheap burger joint, they are a bit pricey, but worth it, they also have beer and cocktails as an... More

Met with friends and kids. All the burgers were huge, juicy, and awesome. Kids were just as happy as the adults. Craft beers were good and waitress was so friendly helping me make up my mind. Definitely need a to go box!

To pricey and you could not tell that the chef ever went to culinary school. I could make better at home.

I went to see the new location to meet someone else who was enthusiastic about it. I didn't like the previous location at all. I ordered the jambalaya because their burgers are humongous and that's not what I wanted. The service was quick, friendly, professional, and efficient. The side items (mac and cheese, sweet potato fries) seem to only offer... More

My son recommended Tucker Duke's to us on our recent visit to Destin / Ft Walton Beach. We found -original recipes for dressings, sauces & sides -creative sides such as house-made cucumber salad, jalapeno mac & cheese & house-made chips -gluten-free options -portobello substitute on almost any hamburger -congenial server -beautiful bayside view -indoor & outdoor seating Recommended!
