Fairly new business which is tucked (hidden) behind McDonald's, off of Highway 20 and Juniper Avenue, in Niceville, Florida. The chef/owner is Brian Cartenuto, a young chef who cooks very tasty, and well seasoned, food in a casual environment. He claims to cook and serve the BEST HAMBURGER IN TOWN, and my son who considers himself a burger connoisseur (and tastes burgers in EVERY town we visit) says it is THE BEST hamburger he has EVER eaten. And, it is HUGE. In fact, all of Brian's portions are very large. I can never finish my plate of food, and take some home every time. In addition to his menu, he offers Blue Plate Specials from Monday through Friday. His "Red Beans and Rice" on Monday are the BEST I've ever had. As Niceville, Fl has so few delicious, affordable and local restaurants, I am reallly wanting to place Tucker Duke's Lunchbox on the map. In fact, I plan to contact that show Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. :-)

Mile high burger

Saw this on a fb post about 15 of the best restaurants in the Florida Panhandle so we had to try it out. A funky old gas station that you will miss if you are not looking for it. Once inside we discovered we lucked out as it was Tucker Tuesday and their regular $10 Tucker Hamburger is $5 if... read more

The best hamburgers ever, great location, but do need more parking space. People awesome, worth the time waiting.

Drove several miles from FWB to experience this place on a recommendation from a friend. It's an old gas station converted into a burger joint, if you're looking for fancy go elsewhere. If you're looking for a GREAT BURGER, this is your place. A good thick, juicy burger takes a little while to cook, don't be in too much of... More

This is in a converted gas station, very rustic, but has the biggest and best hamburgers in town. If you go at lunch hours you will find half the airmen at Eglin Air Force Base waiting in line It is a very unique and fun place for a hardy meal. You may sit out in the parking lot on very rustic tables... More

Had the Tucker Duke. This is my second time eating here. Again, as usual, service was excellent, decor great, food delicious, and price reasonable.

I have written a previous review, now it is more awful...WHEN A RESTURAUNT APPLY'S FOR A LIQUOR LISCENCE you know they are in trouble.....look at the ceiling it is telling u run.. it is not the worst thing the cooks wear no gloves and wipe there foreheads to wipe sweat. This place is sooooooooo over priced it is crazy.....

If I had stumbled on this place in a small town somewhere and the burger had cost half as much, I would say 5 stars. But a $10 burger in a gas station with, shall we say, minimalist decor just comes up short. The namesake burger was good. The service was reasonable. The pricing just didn't match the food or... Arrived early for lunch and selected a table out side. I was greeted promptly and ordered a glass of sweet tea while I waited for my lunch partner. The tea was sweetened just right, but had a slight bitter taste that is familar with either older (stale) tea or from a dispenser that has not been cleaned thorougly. I ordererd... More

Stopped here for lunch with my class and had the original Tucker Duke Burger. Pretty much a standard burger from the look, except a little bigger. The taste was way better than most other burgers I've had. The place is sort of "hole in the wall" looking which for anything but mexican food is normally a bad choice for me,... More

Not sure where the reviews came from that rate this place as great. Tried it twice. Enjoyed the burger but the service was marginal......slow and a bit of attitude.
