So, 4-star review Wonderful jazz vocalist Dingy restaurant needs sprucing up and freshening. Good food. We had salad with goat cheese & pine nuts, fish, & burger. Wish it had been hot but that's a lot to expect.

I found it by chance, in March. I love it. Went back two weekends ago. They have great variety of wines. I ordered the salmon... delicious. My friend's Mahi Mahi was good also. The portions and prices are right. Hostess and waitresses very friendly. Happy Hour at lunch time only at the bar, please be sure to ask before you... More

Best seafood in the area. Friendly helpful staff. We stopped in for lunch because the parking lot had so many cars in it and you know what they say" look for the places the locals go" This is it and the seafood and portions and prices were perfect! Only sorry we couldn't get back to eat again before we left

Service is friendly and efficient. Filet Mignon (4 oz.) is just enough for my small appetite and is cooked to perfection. The beef is so tender that you don't need a knife to cut it! Nice atmosphere. You can eat in the dining room, bar or outside. Love their food. They have an excellant menu but to tell the truth... More

I have been coming here for over 50 years...There is NO better seafood anywhere, I guarantee it!!!! I have had seafood from all over the United States and have never been disappointed at Norwoods. They have other choices besides seafood, prices are great and staff is super friendly and attentive. After dinner, drive about a mile to Flagler Ave. and... More

My wife and I had a early diner, with no waiting. It's been several years since we ate @ Norwood's. Great rep for seafood... This time was a little different. The food lacked the taste I was accustomed to, the poritions were small for the price. I don't know if this restaurant changed ownership or has new chief's. If they... More

Norwoods used to serve good food for the area but, not really anymore. Their wine list is comprehensive and worth a look. The seafood, while gladly not featuring Alaskan fish or Maine items, at least features what is considered locally producible products. Mahi, flounder, shrimp, scallops and lobster (florida not maine). I regret that establishments like this seem to think... More

I love this place, and go back again and again. Consistently friendly service. Great food, especially seafood. Love the happy hour wine and drink specials. And the small plates are just right for my waistline and my budget - I usually get the small order (5) sea scallops in beurre blanc, scrumptious and only $17! Greg was our very knowledgeable... More

Looking for an excellent seafood lunch in a better restaurant? Try Norwoods! We found the shrimp and crab au gratin an the seafood pot pie to be extra special! We went back for the PEI mussels in a light marinara with just a touch of tang. Nice! We didn't find a better lunch spot while we were in New Smyrna... More

Norwood's is the restaurant we ALWAYS eat at when visiting New Smyrna Beach. The food is always good, but this trip was the best ever: The Grouper Stack was fabulous! I had it with Hog(fish) to make mine a little different from what my husband got & liked mine even more!.She Crab soup had lots of crab & was excellent.... More
