We hadn't planned to stop, but as soon as we saw the place we slammed the anchors on! We had an excellent, delivered by a very pleasant waitress who gave us a lot of information about NSB and what was happening locally, On Sunday there was a jazz gathering and I imbibed a few of the best Mojitos I've ever... Looking for a great place to get good seafood in New Smyrna Beach? Look no further! Norwoods offers great variety and a relaxing atmosphere. The service was good and the food was some of the best I have had in the area. We will definitely be back to try the new treehouse bar.

This place needs an update. From the menu down to the dated booths and tables. The shrimp tacos offered as a small plate were laughable and gigantic. The appetizers are 10-12$ each and just ok. They still make a good steak but why spend all that $$$ on adding the treehouse if you don't update your main dining room or... More

We ate there twice. Once in the treehouse bar area and had great drinks and wonderful apps (scallops). The second time we brought our teenage daughter and ate in the restaurant area, not as impressed with the ambiance or service. The food is fairly expensive but good. My daughter had the whole lobster and it was reasonable and delicious. I... More

This restaurant has a GREAT menu if wanting to try something different as far as preparation. Went for a lunch and enjoyed just looking around as far as appearance is concern. The service and sincere suggestions were a welcome.

We have yet to enjoy dining in the indoor dining room because we always want to enjoy a cocktail, wine, or beer in the treehouse bar. Yes, it's literally built in a huge tree. Very refreshing and enjoyable to be up there in the fresh air. Norwood's provides a fireplace and soft blankets for those that need them.

Happy hour at he Norwood's bar features great food and drinks. We found the seafood gumbo to be excellent and filling. The mussels and seafood taco were also very good. You won't spend much at this happy hour and the food options are worth the visit. After dinner, we visited the Tree Top lounge to watch the sun set over... More

Me and my friend were traveling to Orlando from Palm Coast and decided to stop and have dinner in New Smyrna Beach. The first place we decided to eat didn't look too appealing so while driving back towards the highway we stumbled upon this tree house. It was packed and with no reservation we waited for 45 minutes for a... More
