New England Style Seafood

If you want your seafood fried this is the place. Shut your eyes and you will think you are in a New England fish house just form the aroma that will set your mouth watering. They even know how to server fried clams the right way with the bellies.

Great food!! I'm excited to see the remodle. The look was getting old. I guess its time for some change and I'm loving it. The old menu was so confusing. The new one is straight to the point. Year the prices are a little high but worth it for the seafood!

Hi James! Glad to hear you enjoy our whole belly clams. We've been flying those babies in from the same Ipswich clam beds for since we opened. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back to many wonderful meals in the future! More

We have loved this place for five years, but not anymore. Our food was completely different, my scallops were overcooked, rubbery and tasted frozen. My husbands platter was small and also tasted below even average seafood. The server made an attempt to tell us nothing had changed, but it was so obvious. We will not be returning.

Sadly, Boston's Fish House has gone from being one of our Top 3 restaurants in the area, to a place we may never go back to. Over the past 5 years so many changes...and none for the better. The friendly old staff is gone, the huge portions are gone, the frequent free samples are gone, the seafood just doesn't taste... More

Hi JohnJackie! Thank you for your valuable feedback concerning our upcoming changes. I'm sorry to hear your dining experience was not up to your expectations. Unfortunately due to the rising cost of seafood we did have to raise prices this year in order to maintain the same quality of food our customers have come to expect. We had previously not... More

Took some friends there yesterday to celebrate their anniversary and was sorely disappointed. We have made the plus 60 miles to Boston's from St.Augustine for the past 10 years, but probably never again. I remember a time when waiting lines were out the door especially on a Saturday evening. That is no longer the case. As former New Englander's this... More

HI JoAnn! Thank you for the feedback and we're so sorry your meal didn't live up to expectations. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed our whole belly clams which we fly in fresh every 2 days from Ipswich, MA. They are a specialty item our customers have come to love. I've taken your comments to our management team for... More

First, we did not like the idea of having to place our order with the hostess and pay upfront. They do bring your food and drinks over but the whole thing is weird. Also, the prices are high for the portions you receive. We both had the fried clam dinner, $18.00 each. There were actually very few clams and fries.... More

We have eaten at Boston's since it first opened. Ate there today. Never again. Lunch sides are limited to fries, chips and pickles. If you opt for an extra side it's $3.00. The cashier said a dollar per side. Either she doesn't know her job or she doesn't care. Hubby ordered haddock with fries and cole slaw, I ordered scallops with... More

Went their for lunch. Hubby really wanted whole belly fried clams. They did have them flown in from Ipswich. They arrived just lukewarm so he was disappointed. Cost us $66 without tip for lunch; no drinks.

I must admit that after coming in to the Bostons Fish House that I have always loved, finding a different menu was a little of a shock. It was a slow lunch and we noticed the new manager walking around, against my husbands wishes, I motioned for her to come over. After explaining to her how we were regulars and... More

Have been going to Boston's for over 10 years. Always good value and excellent food. They have now changed almost everything that use to be good. Onion rings are no longer what they use to be, now larger with same type of coating but not nearly as good as they use to be. Shrimp is now served on a metal... More
