Out of the way but not all who wander are lost. Especially when looking for obscure but awesome bubba watering holes and eating spots. JB's is the kind of place that has just evolved. Imaging fish camp the fishing guides then bar then food then kayak rentals, etc. But along the way they really got the food and atmosphere right.... More

We were directed to JB's by a local friend who has had great success with their seafood. I was looking for oysters in particular. Our server was nice enough, although we were randomly switched to a different server for reasons not entirely clear. She was nicer than the first, though. We ordered crab balls (yum!) to start, which arrived hot... More

Loved the casual atmosphere. The oysters are clean and delicious. We were there at sunset and the views were amazing. Two manatees swam right up to the docks...a great bonus!

First of all, JB's is pretty well off the beaten path. Not all that hard to find, just far from everything. Once you get there the location ha a rustic, Old Florida Cracker charm. Expectations were high based on the popularity of the place but on my first visit I found the food just OK, until I bit into a... More

Stopped by today for a grouper sandwich, my always go to Florida lunch! Service was awesome, food was delicious and there was live music. This place is a hidden gem, if you are in the area don't miss it. We are going back tomorrow! Also, highly recommend the crab cakes.

Don't look for "plush" here but expect a friendly staff and some great seafood that is very fresh. They stay busy, so try to get there early. They have happy hour prices in the afternoon on their drinks. If it's not raining It's fun to sit outside right on the intercostal waterway.

It's hard to believe these good reviews for what is essentially a terrible restaurant. The only good thing about it is the location. We went there on our first night in New Smyrna Beach of our three week vacation here as it was close to our place, and recommended…goodness knows why! We knew we were going to wait so that... More

Best seafood we had entire vacation. Price was reasonable and service was good too. I got stuffed mahi mahi and it was fabulous. Someone with me got crab cakes and they were also very good. Loved it!

J B"s is not only the launch pad for many of our early dawn fishing excursions but once done catching your fill in Mosquito Bay you can dine on an amazing selection of delectable seafood dishes in a rustic establishment ,with wood floors and screen doors establishment. Feel free to dress comfy in flip flops and shorts too. Our favorites... More

We had dinner here on a beautiful January Saturday night. The place was packed, but we only waited 30 minutes. The wait was actually fun, there was a lot of activity; live music and lots of people on paddle boards. It has a great Florida atmosphere. We each ordered something different, no clams! Everything was really good. The service was... More
