After a hot day on the beach....no better Florida experience than ending the day at JB's... Fresh seafood and drinks....just go hand and hand with a day at the beach. This authentic restaurant sits on the water and offers locals and tourists an authentic Florida casual seafood meal...economical and satisfying !

JB's provides a taste of old Florida in both its ambience (picnic tables, paper towels instead of napkins) and its food (lots of fried seafood, with attitude, as their sign says). My wife and I both had the fried soft shell crab sandwich on our visit, and we were both very pleased. The size of the crabs was good, and... More

Our eleven year old loves seafood, especially crab. The Turtle Mound is a collection of JB's best: steamed crab, oysters, shrimp and clams. He devoured every last bit. Even shucked his own oysters. The key lime pie is like ice cream. Delicious. Spend time on the dock. We saw redfish and manatee. Read the bathroom walls. Adam was a great... More

We returned to NSB after a 6 year hiatus. One of are 'must eat' places is JBs. We have been going there for many years, back when they were allowed to run fresh water from a hose into the river and you were almost guaranteed to see a manatee. I'm happy to report the seafood is still good as is... More

We love JB's. It's right on the inter coastal... boat docks and gazebo on the water, kayak rentals, stage with live music, seating indoor and out. It's an eclectic spot of bumper stickers, shirts, stuffed animals... Full liquor bar, good food, good view... Awesome for sunset! Nice crowd for family fun.

I won't go to Daytona/New Smyrna Beach without a couple of trips to JB's. All of their food is delicious, but my favorite is the crab sandwich! My son loved their raw oysters. This place is a must visit!

The menu here is very large and you can get plenty of seafood. Very causal dinning here, no need to get dressed up. Service was a bit iffy but then someone else took over our table and that worked much better. The rock shrimp were great! The fish sandwiches were all good. Nice to walk around and look at the... Had the fried fish and it was really greasy. Fries were the same. The food was ok other than that. I like the location, nice place to go after being on the water. Could be better.

My wife and I were on a Saturday romp. We decided to investigate New Smyrna Bch. Drove down to the south end of the beach road into the Canaveral National Park ( Park was great ). On the way back we noticed this restaurant, thought we would give it a try. Bad move.... Mostly a seafood menu ( that makes... More
