This is super local. The food is good, but when it gets crazy busy expect to wait. Dress coolly as it tends to be hot. This will give you a good feel for a Florida fish camp.

We have enjoyed J.B.'s for about 3 decades and have seen it somewhat gentrified and made family-friendly. Everyone there works hard, is pleasant and serves consistently good food. I agree that the sunsets there are awesome.

I don't go here for the food as much as for the atmosphere and STELLAR sunsets over the Indian River. That said, they do have a yummy blackened grouper available as a sandwich or entree. But really, JB's is more for the old Florida experience. Originally just a bait shack, it has evolved into quite the happening place. Live music... More

Growing up near fish camps, this place brought back memories. The fish is great. The servers are very courteous, as a family member had food allergies. The sunset was spectacular. Great gem!

This restaurant has continued to display the Confederate flag even after its removal from the South Carolina capitol after the murders at Charleston.

Loved this place. Yes it's a dump but it is what it is! Interesting service...bartenders were very rude but our waitress was awesome! Food was great. Loved it! The atmosphere was fun! Great time if you are in no hurry! We had no where to be and no time limits so it just made the whole experience even better! Would... More

We have lived in Orlando for 27 years and have visited New Smyrna Beach on a regular basis. JB's was always our favorite place to eat until recently. Went in the other night and sat for a good 15 minutes before being acknowledged. Ordered crab cakes and they were very bland and just thrown on the plate. We had a... More

We have had a time share in New Smyrna Beach for 16 years. We have come here many times with friends and family. It's a fun atmosphere with a big dock and a full bar. The past few times we've been though, we feel it's not as good as it used to be. It doesn't seem as clean, the service... More

Located near the entrance to the Cape Canaveral National Seashore, JBs Fish Camp is a great place to visit. JBs is not a high end restaurant but it is the best place to watch the sunset in New Smyrna Beach while enjoying their famous blackened tuna tips (freshly caught when they have them). Other seafood entrees are equally fresh and... More
