I have been going to JB's for many years. The food has always been great. It is a fish camp so it is very casual and laid back. The seating outside is picnic tables with paper towels on the table. I am not saying this a negative point but just setting expectations. It is a great place to watch the... More

JB's Fish Camp, doesn't have Luxurious Décor, in Fact too the Contrary, it has Basic Booth's & Wooden Tables & Bench's, & the Table Covers Consist of Brown Paper.. The Atmosphere is Fairly Good though, as is the Service & the Food is Excellent, with a Varied Menu. Downside on our Visit, September 11th 2014. there was a Power Failure.... More

We drove over from Orlando on a Saturday morning to go kayaking and grab some lunch. The man at the kayak rental was very friendly and helpful. He told us exactly where to go to see manatees and which areas to avoid. We saw a ton of manatees and they came right up to our kayak! After kayaking, we had... More

Have been here before & loved it. It's a very cool, laid back, fun, but place on the water. We really wanted Blue Crabs, but the waitress, who was very helpful & efficient...informed us that they hadn't had them in about a year..too bad we didn't know that ahead of time as we had already ordered a crabcake & crab... Our second meal at JB's confirmed that, while it is a popular spot, the food and service left something to be desired. Good, but not great.

Went back for a second visit with my family who were vacationing in the area. As in my first review, the fried seafood was poor. I tried the Cajun fried seasoning which was a huge mistake. It was just hot with no flavor. The scallops were the only thing I could eat, the oysters and clams were terrible. The fish... More

J.B.'s is a fun destination for the whole family. There's canoeing and kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing charters. The restaurant features a full menu of seafood items to choose from; the oyster chowder was a hit on our last visit. On weekends there is live music and it's always fun to sit on the dock and watch the boats come in with... More

All fish is frozen and over priced. Used to come years ago and get best fresh grouper sandwich around. Seems like quality went down as price went up!

JB's offers a large variety of food, from oysters to hamburgers, situated on the bayou of the Intercoastal Waterway, dolphins and Manatees abound, lots of birds as well, beautiful sunsets for everone. Service leaves a lot to be desired, had to elderly ladies in our group completely forgotten, they got to finally eat two hours after everyone else was finished, pretty rude.

Went kayaking in the morning.... Followed by a wonderful lunch on the water. We had an amazing blacked mahi sandwich, fish spread, and crab cake. The service was top-notch and the drinks were perfect!!! I highly recommend for lunch and dinner!! Enjoy!!!
