Been meaning to try JB's.

Stopped in after a day at Apollo Beach. A nice menu, but I think I chose the wrong dish. The two dishes we chose were probably their most expensive. My wife had the "turtle mound", which she enjoyed and was a large portion. I had the "shipwreck ?", which is a casserole type dish, but unfortunately... read more

This is by far my favorite seafood restaurant and I have eaten in a lot of seafood restaurants. My wife and I usually visit New Smyrna Beach every January. I have never had a bad meal here. At times the service is a bit slow but that is only when it is crowded. The dishes that I have tried have... More

The view from JB's is fantastic. We go there on occasion with friends on the boat. We have eaten there and the food is just ok. The bartender is always friendly, we sit outside in the bar area (for the view). So if your looking for a place to take out of town friends, for a couple of drinks and... More

This was the first time that I had been to JB - but it will not be the last. The food was great - the service was a bit slow - but the place was packed. I think everyone goes to JB for seafood. There was a band playing outside and the only complain that I would say was that... More

Very cool joint once you get inside. Decor all over and a great deck with patio seating to overlook the water! They have an authentic brick oven for pizza, which looked delicious! We got the fried shrimp basket (which was good), the blackened fish tacos (Just ok. Lacked a good sauce or seasoning), and the $23 lobster Mac and cheese... More

I can't explain it, but over the years that we have visited JB's Fishcamp, the service has gone downhill every year. We now live in new Smyrna, but years ago when we were just visiting, service was pretty good even though you might have a wait for a table. Our last five or six visits have not been good, the... The menu is limited but good. Great crab and shrimp! Amazing sunset views! Dining inside or outside. Very rustic, beach joint! Come as you are and enjoy!

We've eaten here a few times, with adults and little kids. We've always had a good experience. If you're looking for top-of-the-line seafood, this may not be the best. If you're looking for really good seafood, kitschy-fun atmosphere, and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is the place. I wouldn't go to J.B.'s on a date with my wife. I would definitely... More

Used to love it, not so sure now . The shrimp has shrunk. I have had their shrimp before and it was nice size shrimp this last visit they were small shrimp and not as tastie. I think they might of been farm raised.
