J.B.'s Fish Camp is a really fun place to come if you are in New Smyrna Beach. It will be crowded (most likely), especially if you are there on a Friday or Saturday night, but the wait is not bad, as you can take your "beeper" with you out onto the docks where you can sit and watch dolphins, and... Ok family atmosphere but food leaves much to be desired. Overpriced for the quality of food. Won't eat here again.

Went for family dinner last night. They were out of several things and waitress wasn't knowledgeable on the fish. The grouper sandwiches came out with buns and plates soggy from the oil drippping off the fish batter. Kids said the only thing they liked were the fries. No one really ate their meal and we will NEVER go back. Atmosphere... More

We've travel a lot and sunsets & atmosphere here is right up there, nothing fancy it is what it say's FISH CAMP great blackened tuna & rock shrimp. Eat on picnic table & watch the dolphins & manatee swim right before your eye's. We go there at least once a week.

Popular spot in bethune beach (south New Smyrna) lots of condo people eat there because it's the only place to eat down that far. Fish camp style atmosphere which is fun, and right on the river to see a nice sunset. Haven't been there in a while but saw an ad that they have a sunday bloody mary bar which... More

I had been 23 years since I last had the op to eat here, and remembering how satisfying it was then, I veered off my intended path for a meal... and was not disappointed. the rustic atmosphere ha been retained as well as the excellent food... the fried grouper sandwich was exceptional, I was als given a taste of the... This restaurant is rustic. You have indoor seating, outdoor seating and dockage for small vessels. The food is good but not gourmet. If you want local flavor, decent service, good seafood and cold drinks I would recommend JB's. They are pup friendly on the outdoor deck for your best canine friend. If you understand beautiful outdoor river frontage sometimes there... More

JB's is a fish camp atmosphere which means it's super casual. We go often by boat. Quirky decor. Lots of outdoor seating over looking the water. Live music generally on the weekends. Good seafood place. Nothing gourmet, but we like the steamed shrimp and the crab sandwiches. And rum runners.......

Living in New Smyrna and visiting JB's on a very regular basis, it always makes me laugh when I hear people make comments about the lacking service or the ambiance of Jb's.. I mean what are they expecting? It's right there in the name.. FISH CAMP. It's a piece of old Florida, with the age and character to go along... More

Despite the negative reviews for " world famous JB's" , it was our favorite lunch of the week! We have traveled the world and feel that we are pretty good judges of great food and service! We are a family of six and ordered all different meals, the Crab sandwich was amazing, Blackend Tuna and onion strings awesome, Fried Clams... More
