After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, my husband and I decided to try Spanish River. What an incredible evening!!! The Spanish wines were half price on happy hour, so we got to sample a variety The menu was so amazing that we decided to do all tapas. My favorite dish was the Fried Oysters in cornmeal. The contrast between the... More

We are locals and have eaten there several times. Great music outside. Very good food with high-end preparation. Atmosphere is good and food is excellent. But this is probably the most expensive restaurant in NSB. Perhaps the expensive wine list contributes to this opinion. It is worth the trip and a fine restaurant.

Whenever we want a very special evening, this is our preferred spot! Even though it's tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza, it's a gem you will want to experience.

Probably the most consistently enjoyable dining experience in New Smyrna Beach. It's a lively atmosphere -- almost a little bit too noisy occasionally (shopping center storefront acoustics will do it every time). The wait staff is very food-knowledgeable and totally service-oriented. It's a tightly focussed menu that may not satisfy every taste -- check out their website for a preview.... More

When stepping in this place tucked in the corner of a strip you gotta to a double take to assure that you really did just walk in to a corner of a strip mall. Instantly, your transposed a continent away, and delighted that a place like this is suddenly at your own fingertips in your own town. Once upon a... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a memorable Cuban dining experience for our last dinner of 2014. The ambience~ which included wonderful background Cuban music , excellent wait staff , lovely surroundings with walls covered in Cuban art and a busy, but enjoyable atmosphere. The cocktails were delicious served with flair and included both white and red wine sangria amongst many other... More

We walked in or 4 people for Sunday Brunch. NIce live music and casual funky decor, some outdoor seating, in a newer strip mall in the corner. We had the ceviche and jamon with figs for starters, and tried the Spanish Scramble, Hangover Breakfast and the Chop Steak & Egg. All were delicious and fresh, with pretty good portions. Nice... First time there. Ceviche was very good. The shrimp appetizer needs bigger shrimp. Service was very attentive. Steak was cooked perfectly. Spicy collards were spicy but very tasty. I would go back and I'm not a big Cuban fan. Atmosphere was lovely. A sleeper in NSB.

A friend and I dined here recently and I have to say it was fantastic. I had the Mahi Mahi entree and it was amazing. Cool place with awesome atmosphere and great service. Leah was our server and took great care of us. We will definitely visit again.

My wife and I had dinner on a recent Friday night. The name Spanish River Grill is from the name of a local river, not the cuisine! We checked and noted that reservations for parties less than six weren't accepted, so we walked in about 7PM and were promptly seated as there were several available tables. Immediately a server came... More
