Good place to eat

A good place to get seafood on vacation. You may want to get there earlier than 6p to get a table. We had to wait an hour when we were quoted 35-45 min. Otherwise a good experience. The cinnamon rolls were great.

My husband and I were staying in. Daytona Beach and wanted to try some new restaurants. A friend recommended this one. We loved it so much, we ate here 3 times in a week! Great service every time! The prime rib melts in your mouth! We had the fried jumbo shrimp and the fresh catch blackened during the visits.. Everything... More

Blackbeards Inn is a fairly pleasant place to have a dinner. I recently visited while on a road trip through Florida with my better half. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good and the overall experience was fine. However, the food is, in a relative manner, average. For example, there is a salad bar that comes with many entrees.... More

We have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Service is good but you have to get there early.

We had a large group, ordered a wide variety of food, and everything everyone ordered was great...fried shrimp, fried scallops, clam strips, etc. In addition, the Snow Crab legs that a few of us ordered were some of the best we've had - not watery or soggy, but full of meat. Also, the fish chowder on the bar as great,... More

we always eat at Blackbeards on the first and last day of our trip - it's a 20+ year tradition! recommend going for early bird from 4-6 - prices are slightly cheaper and always includes a trip to the salad bar and soup. mostly everyone in our party had the steamed shrimp which year after year they say is 'the... Our family of 16 ate there and everyone's food was great. We offered to split up in any number, but they were able to put a few tables together and have us all seated together in about 10 minutes. Definitely will go back!!

Blackbeard's Inn in New Smyrna beach is a very good place for the seafood lover. You won't go away hungry. The salad bar included with most meals is very good and the dinner portions are large for the price. We were there off season in May and the place was full. Go early in the tourist season or you will... More

Well, this is where all the white folks in town eat. My husband is Hispanic; the rest of the place was filled with large white people. They were polite, and service was good. The fish chowder and salad bar are good. My husband's scallops were good, but my shrimp were really overcooked. The bread, cinnamon rolls and hush puppies were... More
