We travel to New Smyrna Beach several times a year and have been to Chase's Beachfront Bar for a drink during the day. On a recent visit, June 20/15, we decided to have dinner by the water. The restaurant was not busy at all and seemed to be staffed well. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience from start to finish.... More

As a local I don't go to Chases's There are so many other places to find good food and great service. I only went because it was the Bike to Bar event on Saturday. Talk about unhappy hostesses and servers. We were yelled at several times to get out of their way and probably saw one employee smile. No thanks... More

Stopped by for lunch, place was packed on a Saturday afternoon. Sat in the bar area, service was OK, but food took forever to receive. Had the coconut shrimp wrap which was very good. However, we both got sick later in the evening with stomach cramps which lasted through the night. Food poisoning? Not sure, but we won't go back... More

Burger was really good. $10 drink buckets. Fish tacos were good too! Right on the beach, has a drinking atmosphere, w/ lots of shady umbrellas to eat under. FREE Vallet parking which was huge for that area.

Great view. They have a pool and its fun to go here. Here's the problem: This place is run poorly. The food's good, but the beer selection is just plain bad. Sometimes the margaritas are good (there are a few good female bartenders here), other times they are so bad that you can't drink them. They won't seat two people... More

DO NOT GO HERE! I used to like this little beachy restaurant and bar, but no more. Hadn't been in a few years, took out of town friends and ended up paying for drinks we couldn't drink and leaving quickly. Seriously, the drinks were like poison, we knew we wouldn't order food, the staff was borderline hostile. The beachfront deck... More

Not so much! Sat down at the bar and waited over 10 min for one of the three bartenders to serve us. Jenna was less than personable as all she cared about was chatting with the bus boy. We ordered a burger and cold shrimp. It took 40 minutes to be served. My "cold" shrimp were warm and my celery... More

This is a big place with covered tables, a couple of bars, a pool and beachside service. We found it a bit loud for our taste, but if you want a rockin', noisy time, you'll love it. The food was very good. We had the Jumbo Fish Sandwich and Turkey Wrap. All in all, it was a fun introduction to... More

The food was GREAT and the service was AWESOME, one problem the people next to us seemed drunk and rude!! They stated the bus person broke their phone, they called the police, however the police stated there was nothing they could do. They then tried to walk out without paying (I heard it was about a $200.00 tab) and then... More
