Description: We have passed this place on the corner for several years and never got...
We have passed this place on the corner for several years and never got the chance to stop in. This time we got the opportunity to stop in for an afternoon appetizers and some wine. For an appetizer we had an item that is really an entre, Mussels Lemonade. Might sound like a little much but we always have a hard time passing up mussels. The description reads "Sauteed with a lot of Garlic, Oregano, White Wine and Lemon Sauce - Served over Toasted Bread" These were some of the best mussels we have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The mussels were large green mussels and were very tender and sweet. The garlic, lemon butter sauce was a scrumptious delight with the garlic and butter coating your tongue and the lemon waking up your taste buds all at once. The sauce was so good we asked for extra bread to soak it up. The waitress told us about their lasagna stating it was made with crepes instead of the traditional lasagna noodles. She stated many customers came in just for it. We decided right then and there to do a little more shopping and come back later for dinner. When we arrived the waitress greeted us like we were old friends and gave us a choice seat by the window. The lasagna came and we could not believe the size of it. So pretty with the cheese melted to a golden brown on top it was almost too pretty to eat. But we did. There are times in one's culinary life where you taste something and you instantly know it is the best you have ever had. This was one of those times. The cheese, the tomato sauce, the seasonings, the meat were as good as it gets, but the crepes were the difference maker. Light, fluffy and tender with a light egg flavor made this lasagna the best we have ever had. We took the leftovers home and had for lunch the next day. Truly a culinary extravaganza. The Atlantis Bistro has an excellent selection of wine and beer with a 2 for 1 Happy Hour every day from 4 - 6:30. Closed on Monday. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday - Saturday and dinner on Sunday. We highly recommend the Atlantis Bistro.

Very good!

My husband and I had not dined here for quite sometime, but stopped in on a very busy night on Flagler Avenue. Fortunately a table had just become available. I had the special which was Lasagna and my husband had the Salmon. Both delecious. Service was also very good. The restaurant is very... read more

This was our second visit & we highly recommend the pork osso buco - it is well worth the 45 min cooking time. The pork is so fresh & hot it melts in your mouth. Also I loved the giant, homemade cheese ravioli with meat sauce. They are stuffed with the freshest cheese and the delicate meat sauce compliments them... More

We managed to get an outside table as we eat late and the restaurant was not too full. Its quite a small restaurant so was happy that we could sit outside. It was undercover but it felt more open. I ordered steak and it was really really good. I can't remember what my wife had but hers was not quite... More

This place is doing it all right! The food, service, presentation and attention to detail are beyond the norm. It is a small place with limited seating but very much worth the wait. Started off with the crab cakes which are delicious, entrée was red snapper with steamed veggies and for desert a brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate... More

We found Atlantis Grill during our first visit to New Smyrna Beach, 6 years ago! We just can't say enough about every meal we've eaten here...my husbands favorite is the pasta bolagnese, I usually will try one of the specials of the day...the other night it was the sea bass...delicious. The lasagna was a hit with our son, who is... More

What a little gem this place is. Very limited seating but great food. The menu is diverse. I saw someone getting scallops which I did not see on the menu and was told you could add either scallops or shrimp to your order for $6. There were six beautifully seared scallops on the plate and I will give that a... More

This was our first visit to the bistro - fortunately we arrived early (5:30) on a Saturday - the place is small, the tables are also small and the place filled up quickly; there were people waiting when we left. Our server, Christian was top notch and the food was good. The highly recommended crab cakes were delicious! Since they... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of our condo. It has become my favorite. Homemade lasagna is the best ever. Made with crepes for the noodles. Last time I enjoyed a Filet with mushrooms and onions. Their Tuscan potato is a nice change from a baked potato. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

We have walked by this restaurant so many times and finally went in this evening. Everything was perfect from being greeted at the entrance to our wonderful happy hour glasses of wine to our delicious meal served by a really friendly waitress. Can't wait to go back next time.
