We have passed this place on the corner for several years and never got the chance to stop in. This time we got the opportunity to stop in for an afternoon appetizers and some wine. For an appetizer we had an item that is really an entre, Mussels Lemonade. Might sound like a little much but we always have a hard time passing up mussels. The description reads "Sauteed with a lot of Garlic, Oregano, White Wine and Lemon Sauce - Served over Toasted Bread" These were some of the best mussels we have ever had the pleasure of consuming. The mussels were large green mussels and were very tender and sweet. The garlic, lemon butter sauce was a scrumptious delight with the garlic and butter coating your tongue and the lemon waking up your taste buds all at once. The sauce was so good we asked for extra bread to soak it up. The waitress told us about their lasagna stating it was made with crepes instead of the traditional lasagna noodles. She stated many customers came in just for it. We decided right then and there to do a little more shopping and come back later for dinner. When we arrived the waitress greeted us like we were old friends and gave us a choice seat by the window. The lasagna came and we could not believe the size of it. So pretty with the cheese melted to a golden brown on top it was almost too pretty to eat. But we did. There are times in one's culinary life where you taste something and you instantly know it is the best you have ever had. This was one of those times. The cheese, the tomato sauce, the seasonings, the meat were as good as it gets, but the crepes were the difference maker. Light, fluffy and tender with a light egg flavor made this lasagna the best we have ever had. We took the leftovers home and had for lunch the next day. Truly a culinary extravaganza. The Atlantis Bistro has an excellent selection of wine and beer with a 2 for 1 Happy Hour every day from 4 - 6:30. Closed on Monday. Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday - Saturday and dinner on Sunday. We highly recommend the Atlantis Bistro.

Always consistent and good

The food is always prepared to perfection. The service is friendly and attentive. The portions are generous and specials are priced reasonable. The house wines and beer are 2 for 1 from 5-7PM. We have been here many times and have never been disappointed.

Based on this restaurants rating and previous reviews, what else can I possibly write. Simple, this establishment is so impressive in so many ways!!! The location is rather small inside, but has extra seating outside that is covered and has some protection from the cooler Winter climate. They do NOT take reservations for less than a table for six, so... More

After missing out on our planned Valentines dinner, we ended up at The Atlantis. We were seated quickly, outside on the protected patio. We enjoyed the bread and wine while we waited for our entrees. I had mahi with a great tomato topping and my husband had a filet mignon special. All good! We had walked by this restaurant many... More

This is an upbeat, fun place where the staff tries hard leaving me sad that I can't write a better review, but the food is mediocre at best. The cream of mushroom soup, which was a special, wasn't special. The meatball bites, a starter, were dry, although one of the two sauces they came with was good. Ravioli in bolognese... More

Second time visiting Atlantis, my wife had the cheese stuffed ravioli and I the mahi lunch special with chicken and veggie soup. Did not disappoint this time around either. Food was very good. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I observed other customers also with nothing but compliments to say to the owner and waitress. That's always a good... More

We enjoyed the best dinner right in the heart of historic New Smyrna Beach at this lovely little Italian bistro. The rack of lamb was one of the best we ever had, just melted in your mouth. The chicken florentine with mozzarella, spinach & lemon white wine sauce was fresh & delicious. Both meals were complimented by a delicious olive... More

This tiny corner restaurant is a great value on many levels. The crowd tends to be a little more mature although I have seen young couples on a special date there too. It has a small bar and has become so popular the dining tables have spilled onto the sidewalk for additional seating and the reason why is the delicious... More

Small, very clean, restaurant with very good service. All the entrees are exceptional - my favorites are the rack of lamb and the pork shank. My wife always orders a fish dish.
