We had an early dinner following a theater matinee and were very impressed with the excellent service and the food. My husband had the full rack of ribs (not baby back) and a terrific salad with nuts and bacon bits, plus a side of fries. I opted for "bronzed" salmon filet (bronzed is like blackened, but with a lighter Cajun... More

Dad and I rocked up here at peak dinner time in January: 1830! We were told to plan for a 30 minute wait but wee seated in ten. This is a big joint and it was full. Our server was knowledgeable and the manager attentive. Dad went for the pork chop (not an observant Jew) and loved it. I had... More

I had a perfect prime rib and cheap but excellent maragitas. Everyone in our party of five had steaks and they were all perfectly grilled and tasty. We all met up at the restaurant and there was plenty of parking, since the restaurant is in a shopping center.

Our server was very good and helpful. I passed on my usual, filet mignon, and opted to try the sirloin. I should have stuck with the filet. The salad needs cheese, the potato and bread were good but the sirloin was very tough. That was a very tough sirloin steak, I could have made a pair of Red Wing work... More

We owned a condo in New Smyrna Beach for over a decade before we finally tried the New Smyrna Steakhouse. It always seemed to be a place for guests seeking out the early bird special but then I stopped by for take out on an evening when I felt like comfort food and didn't want to cook for just myself.... We always get the Steak or Ribs. Service is good. Prices not too bad. They have outdoor dining if you smoke or have a 4 legged friend.

Nice atmosphere and the service was great. I've had better steaks, so that was disappointing. They're always busy, so some people really like it.
