I suspected this was the place to eat when I had a difficult time getting a reservation 2 weeks out. My husband and I were visiting the Naples area in late April and found the recommendation for Truluck's on tripadvisor. The restaurant is in a fast paced area of town and definitely a busy, happening place. I wouldn't categorize the... More

Dined here April 29th, celebrating a friend's birthday. The appetizers we ordered were excellent (stone crabs, shrimp, oysters) - very fresh & very tasty, except for the blue crab cocktail which was overwhelmed by the sauce. The main courses, three of the four choices, were not up to par. The sweet & spicy halibut was very good, the sesame crusted... More

My wife and I typically have dinner at Truluck's once or twice a year. The food is fantastic, the service is on point and the atmosphere is very cozy. It can be tough getting a reservation during season, and it is one of the more expensive options in town, but for special occasions Trulucks cannot be beat.

Now I know why the name. Best dining experience I have had in Naples. Terrific seafood, everything from seafood to salad was very fresh and nicely seasoned/spiced.

Best location in charming down town Naples. Just a few paces away from local theater, shopping, and entertainment. Valet parking. Lively bar with live music. Best known for king crab. Very good food, attractively served. Beware....one desert is large enough for four. Although it is a chain, it is upscale. Moderately expensive.

Went there with a few friends and had a blast. It's a fun screen with decent appetizers. It's really fun people watching. They had a guy playing piano that added to the atmosphere. I'd really recommended for both a friend gathering and couples.

We started with the seafood tower, served with hottest horseradish I've ever had !! Dinners were miso Seabass and a sweet and spicy halibut , the best asian green beans ever ! Dessert was a five layer carrot cake with warm candied walnuts and hot caramel sauce , so huge we only ate a quarter . Our server Kim was... More

Excellent dining experience. The food was delicious and attractively presented. For appetizers we had the rainbow tower--trout, tuna, and scallops layered with avocado and seaweed salad, and the hot and crunchy shrimp—very flavorful and generous portion. Main dishes were trout almandine--delicious and a large portion, and blackened grouper Ponchartrain--again, delicious and a generous amount. For dessert two of us split... More

Love going to Trulucks whenever I'm in Naples. They have an excellent wine list, and the bartenders are very knowledgable. I prefer sitting in the bar area and ordering small plate items, to keep the cost low.

First, the good: Happy Hour at the bar: COSMO @ $8 excellent. Grilled Sea Bass good. Salad with spicy, peppery nuts was good but should have been warned about the peppery nuts before server offering additional crushed ground pepper. Filet mignon, mediocre, almost tasteless. Noisy atmosphere.
